Just curious. Has there been any information on the rehab of Blade's knee? His problems were already not working out in the off season. I just don't see him as the kind of guy that would do well at rehab.

From my sources..............

I'd be surprised if he doesn't bounce back big. Somewhat like the Torrin Tucker situation...........family intervetion plus Parcells.

I thought he tore his achilles.

I think you are right. It has been a while since it happened, so I struggle to remember the whole situation.

Big as in he gained weight? :D I will be delighted if he made a good comeback and became a solid contributor to the team. I like him and was dissappointed that he didn't work hard in the off season prior to the 2004 season. I think Parcells sent him to Europe just to keep him in shape. Instead of having him hitting weights and running, just make him play the game. This will be his last chance. He has had plenty of opportunities.

I'd love to see Willie come back strong. But how about some reality here. An Achilles tear is about the most difficult injury to rehab. It requires a ton of work - Willie was never exactly a hard worker you know.

forgot about him- blade would be another animal on the front four-

we have the deepest dline in the league but yet we are playing with 4 backers most downs with

one of the weakest lb ing corp in the league-

burnett and ware are the most talented and Ware rushes most plays and Burnett watches most plays.

misuse of talent

Recoveries from achilles tears are pretty common these days (Jon Jansen). Its not like it was 15 years ago. I still have an optimistic outlook that Blade can battle it out with Pepper Johnson next year for the backup NG spot. Blade has shown he can do it.

But the player has to have the drive to want to come back. I'm not sure he does.

I think you might be right. I think the 2003 defense actually had a lot to do with the old pants crapper.
