Drew vs Eli- Winner Drew Bledsoe. Besides the 3 (yipes) turnovers, moved the ball reasonably well throughout the day. Eli may surpass him someday, but he's got a ways to go.

JJ vs Tiki- Default to Tiki. Coughlin may regret taking him out at the 1 yd line.

Burress vs Key- Winner Key. Made some TOUGH catches! Burress shut down today and showed very little.

Shockey vs Witten- Draw. Would have clearly gone to Shockey, with the big 2nd half, but TD's cancel out and Witten's big catch at the end put us in position for the game winning FG.

Overall- Pretty even match up. Little suprised Tiki only ran 14 times, I guess the time consuming drives had something to do with that, and playing from behind, but if we have a weakness, it's run defense.

We come up with stops every once in a while, but in general, runners have been gashing us. I think Zimms has done well predicting running plays. I also agree that prevent D sucks. We needed more pressure on Eli at the end of the game.

Run defense isnt bad enterting this game the only 100 yard rusher was Jordan, and remeber most of those games we were the ones down.

All a prevent D does is prevent a team on D from winning or so it normally appears. I hate it when a team with a slight lead goes into a prevent. It never seems to work. Or I should say IMO it never seems to work....

As it stands, with the results today, and if a;ll teams maintain their same defensive rushing stats, wemove up to #7.

We are surrendering 93. and some change per contest.

Does anyone really feel comfortable with the amounts teams have been able to run? It doesn't happen throughout the game, like I said, I think the coaches have been doing good guessing on running plays, but Tiki pretty much had his way today. If they would have force fed him the ball, we could have been pretty disappointed today.
