Let's put it this way -- the Broncos' Chris Harris was injured on a cut block by Harry Douglas during the Broncos-Titans game this week. Aquib Talib sought him out on the next play and started fighting him -- all over the news, I'm sure most of you saw it.

What you didn't see was Demaryius Thomas, the Broncos captain, trading jerseys with Harry Douglas after the game. How pathetic is that? I'm not sure if this truly speaks to the competitive nature of an individual, but it sure doesn't help.

All you have to do to have that question answered beyond any doubt is to log into this website after a loss and see how much it matters. Folks here are full of love and compassion when we win but needless to say, can be the extreme opposite anytime losses occur. I think most players are much the same, although it varies according to the individuals concerned. Of course, nowadays, the money talks quite loudly as well.

I think your really great players care but there's a lot of guys collecting paychecks throughout the league. I think with the amount of money that they're making nowadays, there's less who care now compared to back then. The league minimum is more than some of us make in a couple of years

the fans care a lot about winning the players and owners not so much they all get paid regardless I think the coaches care about winning because mostly there jobs are on the line

His latest triumph was beating Eddie Alvarez, who is 32 and has a loss to Cowboy in his resume. Sounds like he's talked his way to the top. I'll concede if that was actually possible, Chael Sonnen would be holding all of the belts.
