Who needs enemies?

People left and right are actually hoping we lose. That is a disgrace. Get another team. You never cheer for a loss. NEVER.

And especially when we can make the playoffs and have another shot to get this silly monkey off our back. If (I know this is a big if) but if we make the playoffs, everyone who wanted a loss should not be allowed to watch. And if by chance we win a playoff game or two, you should be kicked square in the balls.

You want our team to have heart, to never say die, but you throw in the towel WAY too early.

No wonder the rest of the league thinks our fans are a joke. We have such idiotic, bandwagon, spoiled fans it makes me sick

All I see is... Romo sucks, Wade sucks, Defense sucks, RW11 sucks

And, fire Wade, blow the whole thing up, cut TO, Pac, trade Romo

There are other professional, exceptional atheletes on the other team. And people make mistakes. Grow up and be reasonable

well, join the club. It will never happen though.

and I think kc joined the realm of horrible fans yesterday when about 25,000 people showed up for the home finale. I thought espn and the other outlets all said kc had some of the best fans and how they were dedicated and loyal....guess not.

Heh.

I don't like getting into who gets to be a fan, and who's not really among the faithful. And I know every team has its weak links and whiners, but Cowboys fans, because our bandwagon is bigger, have more than their fair share of them, and many of them have only a tenuous idea of what they're actually watching when they watch the games. It's really embarrassing; this team deserves better fans, IMNSHO.

If you could have only heard the guys about 3 rows behind me saturday night.

They were the most obnoxious uninformed clueless loudmouths ever. I was hoping someone would knock their drunk behinds out.

They were standing there in the aisle right next to me while baltimore was taking a knee yelling you suck, your a team full of P...... Blank you, you blanking m'f ing blankers...you suck...romo your awful...etc.

I turned to the guy when he was standing next to me and said what if they make the playoffs next week are you going to root for someone else? And he promptly said Blank you m'f er.....this team is all Blankers...

Awesome. I can honestly say the final game was one of the worst experiences i have ever had as a fan in texas stadium. and that is depressing.

I would never hope we lose a game or say we don't deserve to make the playoffs. I will always ride the the Boys been doing so since '78....BUT.... I get so freakin tired of watching them lose games because of their play. The Ravens D didn't dominate that game and their offense was hardly dominating. We lost that game because of our own doing and that is hard to stomach especially with a team that's as talented as the the Cowboys. Sometimes they play like teams are supposed to lay down for them.

You can be mad at the team. You can blame this player or that player. Heck I was so upset after it I could not even post anything that night and most of the next day. Just did not trust myself to keep myself out of trouble.

Just flat out was angry over that ending.

But I will agree that for those that say they hope the team loses or they say they are no longer a fan....that makes me madder.

Nice post. I can never fathom hoping we lose.... If there's still hope there's stioll hope and I will be at a bar rooting them on like clockwork. Hopefully I don't leave in one big ball of disappointment like I did Saturday night. :D

I was at the game, i was very dissappointed in the fans. Not many in our section was cheering, a couple in front of us were talking all game, a mom was doing a crossword puzzle and a girl was on a gameboy. And i can understand some booing, but wow. I felt so bad for the defense after that second long run when they were getting booed because you could see Tank Johnson all the way at the 30 standing in disbelief. You could see they were all just devastated. Also, i felt bad for all the old players at the ceremony when nobody clapped for them. I think maybe the older people in the crowd had left early because it was so dang cold.

As we were watching the shots of it back and forth on NFLN, all I could think was that they should have made the closing ceremony a night of it's own, so the old players could have their due with the attention they deserved with people that wanted to be there.

That really sucks, theebs. There a ton of guys (and girls) out there I share a team affiliation with but would never want to share a beer with.

I should make it really clear, though, there are a bunch of posters on this board who do a great job of being pessimistic, disappointed, frustrated, whatever and still keeping everything in perspective. As long as someone is *****ing out of concern for the team, and the things they ***** about are legitimate problems, it's fine with me. We've got enough issues to talk about that we don't need to make up new ones.

I couldn't agree more. I was pissed at the end of the game and I am very willing to criticize the team.

But to hope for a loss? Or to not pay attention? Or to not cheer WITH ALL YOUR HEART?!?

I meet too many fans who only care when we are winning and who have no clue what is going on. This board (the few bad apples here) are just the tip of the iceberg. Most of the fans on this board are intellignet, informed, and care deeply--in comparison

Criticism is fine.

But so many here have to "vent" and say crap that is so over the top that you can't help laugh at them. It's like those guys at the game - it's ludicrous for grown people to act like that and say those things.

I'll be man enough to admit it.

One time...ONE TIME in my life of being a Cowboy's fan did I cheer for a loss.

Final game of the 1988 season.

I was a big fan of Aikman and I wanted there to be no question that we would have the #1 pick to draft him. Worked out just I had hoped.

Again, it was the only time in my life I did so. I didn't regret it then, and I will never regret it, ever, and it sure as heck doesn't make me a bad fan.

Simply stated, it was for the greater good of the team.
