Give Dak the 4 year deal and draft his replacement in a year...that’s what good organizations do...oh and in year Dak will not even be paid top 5 money...other QBs will have leap frogged him. Quit playing games with Dak. Jones is an incompetent buffoon.

Have you totally missed all of the teams ridding themselves of the QBs that has those salary cap killing contracts? None of them are working out for the team or QBs and you are wanting Dallas to make the same mistake, so that they can regret it in 2-3 years.

Do not make the mistake of confusing us with a well run football organization with an actual plan. That said , it takes 2 to tango. Dak has been offered very lucrative deals that would pay him inside the top 5 at his position and he has turned them all down. So now Dak and his agent find themselves in the position of having to save face for the blunders they have made in not signing those fair contracts previously offered. They need this contract to make up for the 2019 season where they chose to let Dak play for 600K rather than sign a contract that would have made him 30-32M a year. Dak literally has 30M less in career earnings than he should have at this point.
