Well, no Mickey... that isn't a good sign... it merely isn't a bad one.
Vintage;1569077 said:Adams is back. Your point?
Colombo will be back soon, according to the reports. While its not great that he is missing time, its nothing I would be too overly concerned about. Would I worry if, say, Chris Samuels missed time or Jon Jansen for you guys? Not really.
Then why are you so concerned about Stanback? We drafted him to develop. And by all intents and purposes, he is behind Hurd on the depth chart anyway. Him missing time only hurts his chances at developing faster. I doubt he'd have much of an impact anyway this year because he is not going to beat out Crayton.
Vintage;1569064 said:Ahhhh.....finally to the point where I was wondering if you were going to mention. If Wade's ship is so loose, why did guys like Bradie James, Bobby Carpenter, Demarcus Ware, Roy Williams, Akin Ayodele, Marcus Spears, Canty, etc go above and beyond to lose weight?

I love how junior's entire argument here is that we don't know the future.
AsthmaField;1569103 said:LOL... now I'll picture that dude everytime I see Firehawk350 post. I coulda done without that.
Basically, that's what it boils down to... he saying that we can't tell the future. That present performance doesn't mean future performance in game situations.
No Chit - Really?
LOL, dont you hate it when people misuse the expression?AsthmaField;1569051 said:How much less can you care? Does that mean that you care 'pretty much'?
I can't figure out if he realizes now that what I said was true, he can't find the thread, or he's afraid to look for fear I will once again be right.Hostile;1569063 said:Reading Comprehension 101.
If you want, I can hit the highlights of it for you. You need to look no further than the opening lines about people whining about Aikman being critical to get the gist of the post.
Oh, and some people are jealous. Ask me if a give a flying crap.
It only a bad sign IF they can't play in the regular season. Next...firehawk350;1569053 said:Well it's definitely not a good sign. I never said the camp was going bad, but the only thing you said that can be verified is false. You aren't getting max participation, you have 40% of your starting OL out.
Well, we only talk of Stanback's potential was a wide receiver or kick returner. We can better evaluate his potential after he has recovered more from his shin ailments. YOU placing more of a premium on his participation in camp than which is necessary.firehawk350;1569053 said:Who said that the fourth WR is scaring anybody? He's doing well in camps. I remember a player by the name of Taylor Jacobs who did well in all the Skins' camps. He sucked at gametime. Just because he had a good week of practice doesn't mean much. Burnett is hurt, so what, it's just a response to your "everyone's participating" idiocy.
I'm only trying to help you. He's a solid #2 starting wide receiver. His loss would have had a greater impact than that of the starting tackles who are going to return anyway, plus your assertion of the fourth round draftee and Burnett.firehawk350;1569053 said:I know about Terry Glenn's health. He went out with for a practice or two and now he's back in. Whopee...
No, you don't know squat about working environments.firehawk350;1569053 said:Yes, I understand Parcells ran a much tighter, more disciplined camp. Phillips runs a much looser. You are assuming that Phillips has the better way. I'm not assuming anything. If he comes out and leads the cowboys to a hot start, then it works best for the Cowboys. That's fine, but we just don't know yet.
That's a sorry excuse. You ran faster than Forrest Gump.firehawk350;1569053 said:Let me take a look at BigDFan5's reply, I never saw it as I'm having to talk to 5 of you guys at once.
