All week we've been hearing about what the Packers are going to do to us, But I never hear their plan on Stopping Witten, neither Rouse or Bigby can, we have seen Jason beat better players then these two, what do you think Zoners?.:starspin

My brother in law, grew up in on the UP in michigan and a huge Packers fan, said that they can't. He expressed great concern over this match up. About as much concern as I have about the Packers quick slants eating us alive. :star:

Rouse isn't going to play. Nick Collins will be starting at FS tomorrow night.

Packers have had trouble covering the TE all year. My guess is they'll start with Hawk on Witten. Collins will help Harris cover TO.

Packers probably won't blitz much because of a quality TE like Witten. Antonio Gates and Tony Gonzalez both torched the Packers this year. However, the Packers won both of those games.

The question I have is how is Dallas going to stop the Packers 5 WR's? I look for MM to spread out the Cowboys all night long. I think Jennings will have a big game for the Packers.

With zone defense and good pass rush. When you go with 5-WR setup, you are providing minimum protection for your QB and I am confident that our DLine and OLBs can get to Favre.

A strong pass rush and good tackling will be critical to stopping the 5 wide set.

I think Phillips is familiar with strategies for stopping spread offenses. The question comes down to execution.

It hasn't been a problem so far. However, the Packers haven't used the 5 WR spread as much as they have 4 WR. Cowboys secondary can't keep up with the Packers receivers.

If 5-WR scheme hasn't been used much, why are you trumpeting it like was end all, be all?

As for 4-WR setup, we've faced many of plays and we have as many wins as you so stop acting like our pass is atrocious. I'll take our defense over your defense anyday.

You won't be taking your defense over our defense tomorrow night. ;)
