No kidding they are through.

That's too bad because Arenas is one of my favorite players.

Not only are they through, it's gonna be ugly from here on out. Butler and Arenas finished? Two all-stars, their two best players...

horrifying. With as bad as the east is, they actually had a chance to do some things this year, with Gilbert taking over the league.

Oh well. He just keeps getting better and better. Shouldn't be any different next year. Gilbert should be one of everyone's favorite players. Huge character guy, gives to the community, basically adopted an orphaned kid whose family died in a fire. He's top notch.

I'm a Spurs fan first and foremost, but I do enjoy watching the Wiz play, and I was looking forward to catching a playoff game or two. But now, ouch! I'm seeing a sweep in Washington's future.

What a let-down after a pretty solid season. :(

There is nothing wrong with a sweep as long they played hard and didn't give up. (says the Grizzlies fan) :(

still awaiting that ever elusive playoff victory, huh?

Grizzlies-0 playoff wins
Reds no playoff series wins since 1995
Cowboys- no playoff wins since 1996

I feel your pain, though

Rangers- no playoff series wins, ever!
Cowboys-ditto.

At least I got my Mavs......

Maybe if we can get matched up against the Cleveland LeBronaliers again this year we can manage to lose the series in 1.5 games, getting whistled for a record 3,072 fouls.

I just can't see myself shelling out a couple hundred bucks to watch Etan Thomas get slapped around by the Bulls.

What if he read his poetry to them?

Or....

Would you pay 100 bucks to see Etan Thomas get slapped around by Brendan Haywood?

They gave away a set of tickets for a Griz game in the office. I didn't even bother putting my name in the drawing. lol

Gilbert Arenas is one of my favorite players. But despite the road he's had to take to stardom, what he gives back to fans, and how every year he seems to get better and better - he's still known and shunned for the Hibachi! type showboating.

So yeah.....this is embarassing. It's too bad Arenas and Butler didn't go down sooner, so that an actual NBA team could have that 8 spot.

If there are any Wiz fans here, I just got this email with a great deal for playoff tickets. They are clearly worried about no one showing up for the playoff games.
