Wolchuk vs Broaddus with our 1st round picks

"Good", maybe, but we need the best one we can get, and edge is one of the most highly sought-after positions.

This idea of a position group being deep so we can wait is how we neglected RB and DT last year when those classes were incredibly deep at those positions.
Yup, Grant was there for the taking. He had a rough first half of the season but really turned it around once he figured some things out.

Would you trade both 1st round picks to move up and draft Bain?

They need a solid DE not another 248 lb lightweight who gets shoved around in the NFL.
Bain might not go as high as people think,he has Trex arms and that is a factor for many teams especially high in the 1st RD.

The best one could be on the board at 20.

Long way to go with who will actually be available. Still not sure who will be in the draft yet. Or how many QBs will be chosen in the 1st round.

My take, there are going to be several surprises especially with QBs. Once all the teams have HCs and free agency and probably some trades possibly Tua and Murray. Then consider teams that need QBs such as Las Vegas, Jets, Arizona, Rams (Stafford is maybe done), Pittsburgh, (Indy/Kansas city in short term) , and others that need quality backups. Will not be surprised to see 5 go in 1st and another 4 in 2nd/3rd.

My hope is Ty Simpson QB falls to 12 and Pittsburgh wants him and willing to trade 21, 53 and 76 for 12.
20. David Bailey Edge Texas Tech
21. Sonny Styles OLB Ohio St.
53. Anthony Hill ILB Texas
76. Davidson Igbinosun CB Ohio St.
112. Jacob Rodriguez S/LB Texas Tech

Hopefully sign a CB, LB, DE or 2, OT, and IOL.

Just a 1st mock of many to come.

Yeah but I’ve come to grips players play. Doesn’t matter how fast they are or how big. I’m looking for 2 starters.

Dante Moore staying in college might’ve just screwed things up for us trade wise.

Wolchuk sees more depth at corner than edge and ideally would want to wait until 20 for the corner.

Broaddus says he's a fat moron and the real depth is at edge. Take the corner at 12.

I would rather no corner and get a DE and LB. But what do I know

Another meaning less corner. Need the guys up front sitll. Need to pressure the QB and the run game. Screw the corner.

All we heard about is how stacked this draft is and it's not. Bain is the man, Bailey can't play the run. Howell smaller outside guy who could produce. Then we will all see anotehr Taco/Mazi repeat failure Claiborne/Delane. This franchise is Fed. A huge laughing stock. Trade a generational talent for nothing and resigned a JAG for 20 mill a year in Osa last offseason what a complete joke. It's all gonna fall apart in the next 2 years and Dak will be done and hopefully the old man will be too so this franchise might have a chance to finally move on.

Bailey is good against the run,not sure where he sucks in run defending is coming from.
