Wonder if the offensive coordinator or Garrett is saying this to Weeden

"If you are in a situation where you don't see anything and being pressured, either throw the ball away or take the sack."

Because that would prevent any costly turnovers during the game that can give the other more points. Plus its obvious to anyone with 20/20 vision that Weeden is not a playmaker and has no skills to buy time so someone on the sideline should be telling him that to avoid him screwing up the game. When I saw that fool trying to scramble while moving to his right I knew something bad was about to happen. He needs to be told to take the sack or throw it away

they probably do. it took romo years to learn, as it was an innate reaction in him. Weeden plain sucks. and it was obvious coaches don't trust him.

Well that means this should be his last season

and that would be two years too late :)

sometimes you have to see players in game time to understand what they are capable of. its obvious weeden maybe a practice QB, but on game day he sucks. he did not once target anyone down field. you can't tell me he was under pressure all day, because there were plenty of times he had the time to at least make an attempt. the problem is when you don't teams will pick up on that tendency and pack in 9 in the box. even if you don't succeed, then just throw long, to keep their defense honest. yesterday in the second half Atlanta had no fear that we would go deep. any attempts to WRs was either on slants or bubble screens.

Fear makes a coward of lesser men. Is Weeden a lesser man? Well, yes. But he's the soldier we have until someone better is ready to run the game.

If they did, he aint listening considering he decided to take a dive while outside of the pocket on 3rd and 1 (& lose 3 yards & not stop the clock) instead of easily throwing it out of bounds. Thats where he lost me, that was stupid and looked plain scared and if he cant make the right decision in that situation, I have no confidence he can do anything even more complex in future scenarios.

I think he is scared and doesn't want to get hurt (which I understand but quit playing football then). He looked shell shocked to me after his concussion in preseason and his comments afterwards sounded like he had himself on a short leash on how much punishment he would endure going forward

Not that it mattered since they weren't coming back from an 11 point deficit with him at QB and the way our defense was playing

Whitten was wide open. Weedon just over threw him like he did on the seem route. He is not a gamer, therefore his abysmal starting record.

Why does Weedo's fat face and mannerisms during interviews remind me of that sexual predator, Roethlisraper?

I have to wonder why we had him rolling out to the left, when he has trouble completing passes when rolling to his right...he isn't mobile so why ask him to complete the hardest throw in football...plus he should have thrown it 10 rows up...
