I really really like Cooper Rush. The poise he plays with is so impressive. We may be forced to find a place for him on the 53 because he may not make it to the practice squad

Edit: might sound crazy, but if he plays like this all preseason, I wouldn't be too upset if they just let him be the primary backup and cut Moore

I agree with you. Woods, Frazier, Rush, Rico, Lenny and Taco all made plays that I think help cement their roster spot.

Woods has been making plays in practice as well and seems to have passed Blanton and Frazier on the depth chart as Woods came in after Jones and Heather. I could see Woods beating out Heath by the end of training camp for that starting spot which would allow Heath to come in and roam (I think he would excel in the backup role)

Only time Hillman made a play.....even though I wouldn't call it making a play......was when he got the hand off and was hit in the backfield but broke a few tackles and made it back to the line of scrimmage. Other then that wasn't impressed. Rod seem to have more burst and wiggle

While I agree he needs improvement he isn't as bad as some think when it comes to his blocking.

We need to take a runningback next year in the draft. Not really impressed with any of the other rbs aside from McFadden.

Cooper Rush needs to be backup period. The guy can make plays. He has that poise. We don't want to hand another team a potential starter. Make Kellen Moore some kind of coach or assistant because while he might be a super brainiac, it doesn't translate on field.

Woods really started to come on the longer he went in the game. He's a smaller dude, but he hits with authority and he's a ball magnet.

Rico Gathers... the guy will be a force. Huge guy who is extremely difficult to bully and he can catch. You don't let that go.

Overall, I was quite impressed with the defense. These guys are stout against the run.

Awuzie, Lewis and White all seemed to be held out tonight. I know Lewis and White had injuries but makes me think they didn't play Awuzie to see Thomas, McFadden and Seamster play. Out of that group I think Thomas has played better then the other two.
