Tony Kornheiser might leave MNF

Those of you who dislike Tony Kornheiser might be happy to hear he might not return to the booth on Monday Night Football next season.

Kornheiser will be in Dallas, probably Saturday, getting ready for the Cowboys-Giants game on Monday night.

Maybe Matt Mosley will take over for Tony.

I dislike him more than any other Monday Night announcer ever. I really can't even tell you why. I just loath the guy and he take a lot of enjoyment out of watching MNF for me.:thumbdo:

If anyone needs to leave MNF it is not Korny...It is Theezman.

Korny at least admits he does not know all that much about football, Theezman pretends he does.

I get tired of Kornheiser's constant questions for Theisman. For example...."Joe, If the Wrs continue to drop passes during a game, do you as a QB lose faith in them?"

I mean, come on. Think of a new way to comment about the game.

I can think of people I'd rather have in the MNF booth than Tony, but a lot more I'd hate to see there.

He can keep on pointing out Theisman's endless inconsistancies for years, and I won't grow tired of it.

Although I only heard him for a brief time on one game.

Vermeil is actually pretty good. Or at least he was. He did NCAA on ABC in between the Eagles and Rams coaching jobs, 83-96 I think. He wasn't bad. I think he teamed up with Musberger for awhile on the ABC broadcasts in the early to mid-90's.

Turning off the sound does wonders to improve the broadcast.

Exactly. Thighsman just stinks and makes statements that are egotistical and idiotic. No one else calls him out on his dumb statements and looney rants except Korny. A lot of his questions to Joe are just baiting him into making another dumb statement. I'd rather keep Korny around to to pester the hell out of Thighsman.
