What level of ships are you playing at?

Oh. I was looking at the game results on Battled.
The Bot Battles I was at a 93% win rate.
The battles vs other players about 54%.
But as I get better I hope to move this number up.

I have a slew of ships in the V-VII range. I also still play my IV Clemson DD.

I only have the one ship in the V range. US Cruiser.
Hey it's free to play and I can cross work some other ships.

Let me see if I can remember the current ships I have in port off the top of my head.

Carriers: (really don't play the CVs)

• (IV) Langley

Destroyers

• (VI) Farragut
• (VII) Mahan (main one I play so I can get the Benson)
• (VII) Sims

Cruisers (Don't play these much except for purchased one)

• (IV) Phoenix
• (VII) Indianapolis (This guy is beastmode!)

Battleships

• (V) Texas
• (VI) New Mexico

I have a couple of other very low level other country ships, but really don't play them.

I sell off many of my older ships for their port slot. I might still have the (IV BB) Wyoming too, I just don't recall.

I also hit a level today and upgraded to the top of the hull line on the ship.

Dam. As of late it seems like the BB's see me and hit me right away.
I pour shell after shell into them and chip away.
One salvo from them - boom. My deck armor is not that good.

I'm at level V for the US Cruiser. Omaha.

When I get to be able to use level VI - Cleveland I jump a bit on hit points.

But is that a ship I have to pay for? In gold coins?

Cruisers are in a tough spot right now with all the Battleships in the game. Cleveland is a great ship.

Notice you hardly ever see CVs anymore.

They need to fix them and introduce subs.

I think the carriers are hard to control with all the planes moving about on them.

Yeah, I hate playing them, but there were some very good CV players. I hardly see any now because the good players sink thing asap as nobody defends them like they do in real war.

I do try to loop back to help randomly.
But with one plane it's hard.

You have to get in the planes flight path and that usually leads to me getting bombed or torpedoed.

Sometimes as a support guy, that is your job. hah Destroyers / Cruisers are supposed to take the torpedos for CVs.

I seem to attract torpedoes weather near a carrier or not.

For a while there, they were making torpedo hidden until you were way too close to avoid them even as a DD. I haven't seen that as much lately, but that was complete crap. They would appear like 1-2 seconds before they impacted.

Well they do give you the extra alert button but that is for only 1:30 or so.

I guess they are trying to match technology of the time.
