Claiborne has been a starting CB from Day 1. Who should have been the pick if we stayed at 14?

I agree with this. I did think he would be a little bit better of a player, but he sure wasn't worth the trade up and loss of the second round pick.Too early to tell. Claiborne has done nothing and he cost an extra pick though. He's trending towards major bust.
Told you guys Claiborne could/would not tackle. This is going back to last year. Trading up for him instead of adding two young pieces to the team from a deep draft was dumb. Switching to a defense that highlights his weaknesses instead of his strengths makes it even dumber.
Escobar..2nd rd pick...holes everywhere...and this who you pick? where are the folks who were saying that the Cowboys were hiding him in the preseason and going to unleash him once the real games started? lol two games and all i've seen is john phillips 2.0.
