Since I'm still bitter mine was today when Wade started his PC with "Surprise I'm here" like he always does.

For me, the worst moment of the season was...

immediately after the Commanders loss, One player on the team is allowed to go to the podium and attack his coach who he is directly responsible to in jason garrett and his quarterback who he should not be talking about in the media.

From that moment on, the offense looked funny, it looked like there was some sort of tension and things were never the same.

That stuff can never be allowed. An offensive player who calls out his quarterback to the media should be reprimanded by the rest of the team, but here it opened a floodgate of nonsense and complaining and the owner/president/general manager agreed with the buffoon who made the comments, and continued to back him publically when he whined more and more.

Something happened in the locker room that day, I dont need evidence from a player to convince me, they were never the same again and I think that is when witten/romo/garret and others had enough of this guys act and all this tension started.

If this guy is brought back it will get ugly, like 4 or 5 win ugly. Without him this group has a chance to be a strong unit again.

anyway that is the moment I knew this thing was headed downhill.

great post..

Watching the Cowboy greats have to put on a brave face after a gutless loss to Baltimore.

I would like to add my favorite moment of the season.

Texas stadium playing the four topps "same Ol Song" when roger staubach was on the field for warmups and when he was announced during a commercial break and he was in the endzone and he said a few words quick.

For the rest of my life, whenever I hear same ol song I will think of roger staubach and the final game at the stadium. I am thankful I was there for the little things like that.

My worst moment was actually getting "on board" and believing all the hype.
After that debacle last year............having home-field advantage throughout and not being able to get out of the first playoff game, I should've known better.
I should've never set myself up, AGAIN, to be "left at the alter" by thinking that this crew would actually come through.
I might as well just get on the Raider bandwagon and think that Al Davis is sane........................

I think that moment nails it.

The finishes to Arizona and Pittsburgh come a close second/third.

Realizing that horrible things like this seemingly only happen to the Dallas Cowboys.

Losing the last game at your home stadium.
Losing a "must win" "playoff" game by 38 points to a team you beat earlier in the season.
Giving up two long TD runs back to back to put away a game where your offense woke up again.
Never having a single point in the season where your offense and defense played a great game.
Losing games you should win.
It seems as if the football gods are just messing with us, giving us different ways of losing. For example, 2004 against the Steelers when Testaverde hits Richie Anderson's HELMET and fumbles the ball.

Sometimes it's hard being a Cowboys fan. I've NEVER witnessed a Cowboys playoff victory being only 18 years old. It sucks.

Its like were becoming the Chicago Cubs of the NFL with the amount of simply unbelievable **** that happens resulting in us losing games. We lose in ways I have never seen before, and doubt I will see again.

I'm 19 and I grew up during the downfall of Aikman and the Campo years.

That's why no one can ever call me a bandwagon fan. I've never seen the Cowboys do anything significant LOL.

The Cowboys losing to the Rams a few days after my Dad died. I needed cheering up and they let me down bad.

I am Cubs fan so this has not a particularly great year for me and the losing games, series in embarrassing fashion especially after the regular season they had. I am hoping for a better 09.

Losing to the Rams, and the way we lost to them ( I know a loss is a loss, but still). Basically, we got manhandled.

Oh and by the way, they finished the season yesterday with only 2 wins (Dallas and Washington)... Just sad.

I have to say it losing to the Eagles yesterday and the offense (or the lack of it) would be a close 2nd.

How does Garrette let Johnson look like a god is beyond me. He plays him twice a year and the whole world knows there will be a lot of blitzing. We looked pathatic yesterday.

The blocked punt in OT in Arizona...it wasn't that we lost, but our Pro Bowl punter went down for the year. As bad as our ST was, McBriar continued to save our ***** with his booming punts. He was a HUGE loss for us. Who knows? We prolly win that Pitt game.

My single worst moment (several seconds) was when Ware went down with an apparent knee injury. A real heart-in-the-throat moment right there.

-- Thankfully it turned out o.k.

I would have to echo the statements of Romo getting hurt and the subsequent pummeling of McBriar...at that point I knew we were in trouble...
