There have been many threads asking whose the best at this and that.

So lets try something a little different...:)

What NFL Team do you consider to be the most dreadful, horrendous, pathetic, worst squad ever in the history of the NFL.

Cardinals. Boggles the mind at the ineptitude that's gone on in that organization.

Denny Green is trying, but that's like digging thru a landfill w/a teaspoon.

Gotta be Bucs in Orange Uni's era...Off the top of my head I can't think of the worst specific year. I just remember they were god awful.

I gotta agree with WG.

The Cardinals are just pathetic.
And they have some good players every year. But they just can't seem to do anything right.

Someone needs to get the balls enough to change their name, colors, logo, and unis. Nothing about a Cardinal is intimidating and it's made worse by being red and white and having that awful logo. There is no reason to hang on to tradition when your team only has a poor history to reflect upon.

The Bills. I'm sorry but I'd rather miss the playoffs the lose 4 straight Super Bowls to NFC East teams, by the fourth year I wonder how many of them honestly thought they'd have a chance. As a fan it would be like all this buildup and then let down, year after year. So much talent on those 4 teams, but they lacked the toughness of their Super Bowl opponent...each and every time.

I think Jimmy Johnson leading the Cowboys from 1-15, to 7-9, to 11-5, to 13-3 and Super Bowl champions...has to be one of the greatest team turnarounds in the history of professional sports.

2001 Panthers. Lost 15 straight games. And didn't even get the number 1 pick, since the Texans were an expansion team. But, they got Peppers, who trounces Carr thus far, so I guess it all worked out.

On the Nosey...

I think they lost 26 in a row...

And who could forget the Coach McCay response to the question, "What do you think about the execution of your offense?"

"I think it's a good idea"

Whoever originally picked out their colors and uniforms should be given some blame. It seems like when the Bucs switched logos and uniforms, that's when they started making the playoffs and then the SB.

He's a Skins fan. Any thoughts you may have had about reconciliation, should be killed immediately. ;)

Its the Cards. without a doubt.

I go out to Phoenix on a semi-regular basis.

When I'm listening to the radio during the football season, and a contest winners gets concert tix AND Cards tix., then the caller says "You can keep the Cards tix"

You know its bad.

I would go with this years Texans. They have the worst Oline I have ever seen. Seeing David Carr sacked on a three step drop is absolutely astonishing.

One thing I found really interesting is that from 1989 through 1993 even when the Skins and Cowboys were at opposite spectrums, the season series always split, giving Johnson and Gibbs a 4-4 head to head record. The even record head to head continued until 1998, when the lean years against you began for us:

1989: Cowboys god awful at 1-15, Commanders still lose to Cowboys at home  and miss playoffs with a 10-6 record. Gibbs 1 win, Johnson 1 win

1990: Cowboys better at 7-9, Commanders 10-6, Gibbs 2 wins Johnson 2 wins head to head

1991: Commanders 14-2, Cowboys 11-5, both good teams, split...Gibbs 3 Johnson 3

1992: Commanders 9-7, Cowboys 13-3, Commanders on slight decline....split Gibbs 4 Johnson 4

1993: Commanders 4-12, Cowboys 12-4, Commanders fully declined with new head coach...yet split with Cowboys

1994: Sweep For Cowboys

1995: Sweep For Commanders

1996: Split

1997: Split

1998: Sweep (Cowboys) God 1998-2004 was hell!

1999: Sweep (Cowboys)

2000: Sweep (Cowboys)

2001: Sweep (Cowboys)

2002: Split

2003: Sweep (Cowboys)

2004: Sweep (Cowboys)

2005: Sweep (Commanders)

I am suprised that no one mentioned the Bengirls or the Brownies.

The Bengals uni and helmet are just horrible. Moreso now!

The Browns look more like Orange heads and just plain "eh"

Yeah.... you take away those sweeps of the Commanders and our three 5-11 seasons are three 3-13... maybe..... ugh!....

Beating the Skins in in "89" is probably the reason the 1989 Cowboys haven't been mentioned in this thread.

1989-93.....the splits are somewhat mind boggleing if you think about it.

The 1/15 Cowboys in 89......and winning in Washington...

The splits in 91 and 92.....probably the two best Cowboy teams ever assembled and could only manage a split. Those alone make strong statements to the intensity of the rivalry between the two teams.

The Commander / Cowboy games many have been classics.....it has been fun.

YOU ARE CRAZY!!!!!!!! Think about the Mavs. During the 90s when they sucked and now when they are in the playoffs every year. I'd much rather have that than being a middling team. The Super Bowl, even losing, is much better than the Cardinals or the Lions.
