Tastes like a lot of salt and hurt butts in thread tbh.

Very excited for this game. 2 Power house #1 seeds going at it.
About as excited for this one as last year's. Hopefully this Super Bowl isn't as boring or one sided as the previous.

If either of the teams playing was the cowboys, and had the exact same scandals, people here would be excited as heck, and not care about, or downgrade the "Scandals". "No i wouldn't integrity blah blah" yeah sure whatever.

One thing for sure…they are the two luckiest teams in the NFL.. one is a cheater the the other is pure lucky. As far as the best team in the NFL this year, I have to stay on my opinion..the Dallas Cowboys (even with the "ok" defense)…Anyone who watch the Seatle game and the game in Philly and does not realize how good this team is must be either a hater or doesn't know football…there were other games but to me these two showed how tough mentally and physically this team was

but to win the SB you need skill and "luck" and unfortunately we lacked enough of the latter

Insert Coin. Try again.

Not me. As relevant point of comparison I left NBA fandom as a Laker fan after two consecutive championships! During a deciding playoff game against Portland...when my team went to the charity line 14 times in the last 108 seconds...I started to ask myself: why am I not enjoying my team win? Why is this so shallow? Why do I feel dirty and as if I'm watching a movie with bad special effects and no plot and abuse of underage minors?

The analytical part of me said with no confusion: What i am watching is a fraud! The NBA is a fraud.

I felt the same way at the NFL this season...the call versus Detroit...and then the call versus Dez...were only the final exhibits of a league intent on engineering desired results. And it goes back much further. In 2014 the Cowboys on balance got a ton of undeserved calls. That time Stephen spent wining and dining Shamebino seemed to be money well spent!

Most of the times I watched calls getting overturned during any game it was for the worse! What was a sham. An embarrassment!

Watching the NFL is absurd misery these days. It's like being in a prison and leaning down to pick up soap. I find anyone willing to put up with that a bit on the pathetic side.

Absurd. How many times did we have calls that went against us too?

I think it will be interesting to see how many times Brady fumbles a fully inflated football. Schlereth on his radio show mentioned how multiple teams had complained about deflated balls after playing NE.

I stopped reading there....

Laker and Cowboys fan for life. It's all about the love of the game. Period. We're talkin about the game man.. Not some melodrama thriller blockbuster movie. The game. The game.. We're talkin about the game man! Not a movie... not a screenplay. The game man!

The biggest difference between Basketball and Football and I say this all the time.. in Basketball the better team always wins. In football that's not the case.. any given Sunday is known for a reason. When you just play once it's a crap shoot. The Hawks were probably the 3rd best team in the NFC.

They might even beat the Patriots.. but they are not a better team.

I don't care for the Pats, don't mind the Hawks, but HATE the 12th man here in Washington. It's unbearable at times listening to the foolishness here with these folks.

However, I will say this. Pleaseeeeeee don't fool yourself into believing that every single QB that plays in the NFL doesn't mess with the Balls. And don't think for one second that every NFL team doesn't have at least 60% using some kind of PED. It's common, it's just the way things are now...

One team cheated in the Championship game. The other should have lost.

I don't like either team.
