Would actually be a Cowboys fan if he didn’t own the team?

If Jerry would actually be a Cowboys fan if he didn’t own the team? I mean, I feel like he’s been punishing us fans for the past 25 years...

    Look at it like this.

Let's say you're a starter for the Cowboys and in the 3rd game of the season you get hurt and can't play the rest of the season. The Cowboys go on to win the super bowl.

Do you really feel like you earned that ring? That it's YOUR'S?

That's how I think Jerry would feel if we win a super bowl and he isn't very involved. Unfortunately it has to be his way. I can just a *little* bit sympathize.

I think this is what drives Jerry. He's too old to change so....

Daaaang! I just read that he asked Hoffa for a loan to buy the Charges! Could he be a mafioso?

Just remember we did get 3 super bowls out of him when he was still sane. That's more than the chargers got and they're not exactly setting the world on fire now either.

I know but he did hire Jimmy. I'll always give him credit for that. I honestly believe had he not bought the team and hired Jimmy we wouldn't even have those three. Now I agree with you, since that hiring, he has screwed us ever since.

Just doesn’t make sense that he would fire Jimmy Johnson in the first place

It does if you go back to my first post in your thread. Winning that way didn't do it for him. He wants to feel like he was an integral part of the super bowl, not just signing the checks.

He DESPERATELY wants to be known as a football guy... McCarthy will make him look good... but we all know... we've known for 20+ years...

I read in another thread that jerry was not a cowboys fan prior to buying the team. So he is only a fan since he bought the team, which isnt the same
    as a regular fan.

Would've made for a completely different history. We might have 6 or 8, might have none.
