Would it be good if Lovie Smith wins the SB and become Cowboys next HC

Fans thoughts?

I don't think the Bears will allow that to happen. It would be great if they did but I would be shocked to see the Bears let him get away.

One of them coaches has to go, either Lovie Smith or Ron Rivera. And right about now, I'll take either one of em.

Neither has to go if they don't want to go. Chicago will step up and pay Lovie. Now what happens with Rivera is anyones guess. I'd love to see him in Dallas. He's my personal choice.

This is correct. One of them has to go and the lynch pin is how cheap do Da Bears want to play. If they want to go on the cheap, then they let Lovie go. If they want to invest, then they sign Lovie and Rivera moves on. Simple as that IMO.

Good Point:bow:

But the Bears is known for being a cheap team even with sucessful coaches.

If the Bears win the Super Bowl, I would rather have Rivera because Lovie would already have his prize on his shelf and wouldn't be as hungry as someone who didn't.

Rivera would have tasted the glory but would still want his own. He would be hungry to prove that he could win the Super Bowl on his own.

Good point.

If the Bears win the Super Bowl, why would the Bears even contemplate on letting him go to Dallas? Talk about pissing off and alienating a lot of their players and fans...that would be a good way to do it. It'd be the dumbest move ever. Even if they don't win the Super Bowl, letting Lovie go would be unbelievable.

I'd love to have him with Dallas, but I don't see it happening in any way whatsoever.
