We need to get over the call. Whether we like it or not, the rule sucks, but it appears that the right call was made.

Yep. It's the rule that needs to be changed and this is NOT the first time this has been brought up as a ****** and pisspoor rule.

Absolutely, the rule completely stinks, but you can't be mad at the referees for doing their job. It's like the guy who goes 90 on the freeway, but gets pissed when the cop pulls him over, guy was just doing his job.

With Romo's injury, he probably skips. The rest of the guys will be there.

Exactly. They need to make the speed limit 90.

Nobody really showed sympathy last week, when the lions got almost the same treatment.

Dude I'll respect you as a fan, but you have some agenda right now. Stop trying to pick fights. If you think the non-call on a hold/contact that happens on most plays in the league is similar to this one, then you don't particularly understand the football game situation. Its a made play vs a play that could have been made.

Does not matter. Both calls are calls that changed the game or potential of the way the game went.

If you are upset about this, I hope you also understand we got away with one last week. This whole forum, including yourself would be upset if what happened to the lions, happened to us.

I have to disagree, it's not the right call when the actions by the player show a completed catch, a cupped ball with fingers around the point followed by a lunge to the goal line. There were 3 steps, even a knee down before the lunge. Those actions are the complete opposite of the rule. On top of that what large portion of evidence did you have to overturn the initial ruling on the field? After the lunge the ground causes a fumble, recovered by the player. Oh wait, the ground can't cause a fumble. This is a catch, it played a large part of determining the game along with Tony taking too many sacks, the Demarco fumble (Patrick Crayton Giants playoff game moment all over again) and their 3rd WR lighting up our 3rd corner.

Romo won't be there and I doubt Murray goes with his hand. The other 4 will be there.

I think its different because in that game the Lions a) could have made 4th and 1 and b) had 8 minutes to go out and win the game. Would the lions receiver have made the catch if Hitchens hadn't touched him? Doubtful, as it hit him in the back. Would we have won the game if Dez's amazing catch had stood? Maybe, maybe not. But taking that catch away on "irrefutable" evidence with the time left and situation basically gives the game to GB. The win probability went from 59% to 15% on the Dez call. For Detroit it went from something like 75% to 60%.

That said, we are all kicked in the groin right now, so let's just agree Dez made such a great play and it sucks that it was stolen from him.
