If you believe those stats then you have to believe that our offense is Rank 4, right? Just saying. Our defense is worse than our offense. lol

Of course!

He’d lead us to another championship trophy to place next to all those others he led us to.

Oh wait.

Now I see it’s just more Romo fantasyland ridiculousness.

So open for debate. Would Romo in his prime have us at 5-0 with this current team?

Romo playing at MVP level of 2014 with this offense is quite the dream. He didn't have a route runner at true wideout since Austin's breakout year.

Watch TO's TD reel with the Cowboys, and compare to Dez's. About 2 yards of separation difference.

I bet Tony would have been great with the misdirection offense too. Always played like a point guard. Understood defenses.

Still, Dak gives us a run ability that Romo 2014 doesn't. And obviously, durability that Romo lost.

But given our games, I don't really see the case for 5-0. I don't fault Dak for GB. He took one sack putting us out of FG range and threw one bad ball for an INT. Dak was over 10 yards per target. There wasn't a lot of margin for Tony to do much better, and GB likely amps up their own offense if the game was closer in the 2nd half.

Are there any QBs who would be a lock, or even likely, to win the GB game? I don't see it.

4-1.

How many times in Romo's career did he have a 5-0 start? Once and that's it. How many times did Romo have 11 straight wins? None but Dak does.

These are stupid threads talking about what Romo would have done or could have done. He failed, often. In the playoffs, in week 17 games when he needed a win to make the plays he came up empty. Let it go, Romo isn't a Hall of Fame QB and it isn't coming back. His time is gone

Romo was next to flawless in the GB playoff game, and much of 2014. MVP level. The question was about his prime. I'd say that was it. He wasn't failing, often, in 2014.

If you don't like hypothetical threads, don't respond to them. Let them go. You're not require to read them.

No...the lines are too unstable. They’ve made no progress upfront, until McGovern gets off IR,and In fact got weaker at the d-line. QBs regardless which, are at a disadvantage in that situation. Flemish Cap was awful at LT...I mean awful. They got to stop this with using the worst players known to mankind for answers at LT. 20-1 Smith “wasn’t” gonna play this week depending on how Fleming did. Well,he’s playing now. Loooool

The thing is that if Romo could only go 5-0 with this team and no time in his career before then it would show that he needed a certain talented team or a certain stacked roster around him to get to 5-0.

To the question itself since Garrett has never been 5-0 with any QB then I don't know if he would have gotten there with Romo.
