BArbie and a second I would do. I wouldn't send Choice. After last year with both Barber and Felix going down, Choice was the guy carrying the load. I don't think we can risk not having him, IMO.

Seriously?

No. i wouldn't do it.

I really don't understand why people want to have two WRs on this team that are going to have 45 million dollar contracts (Or higher). Boldin isn't going to come here and play cheap. You're going to tie up a huge amount of money into two WR's.

I would just as soon draft a WR to add to the mix than to give up a pick and pay out the big money Boldin will get.

What about moving Ellis, Barbie, and a 3rd instead?

Would depend on what we feel about Spencer. Can he carry the load? Will he get suspended?

No matter what 2 players, and pick, you come up with it's not going to be a good situation for the Cowboys, cap wise, to be paying Boldin and Williams the kind of money it would take to have them both at WR on this team.

I'd rather they picked a WR and payed that guy far less to play the position then give another 50 million to Boldin.

Why trade all that for Boldin, when we can probably trade up in the 2nd rd and get Hakeem Nicks who's a faster, younger, and cheaper version of Boldin?

Because of the fear of the 'unknown', that's why. Hakeem Nicks looks like a stud, but so did Mike Williams, Charles Rogers, etc....they were "can't miss prospects" taken extremely high. Boldin is a proven commodity.

:signmast:Yeah, we can probably trade up ten spots and land Hakeem Nicks.

I love Choice, but he doesn't have the value you guys are placing on him. I don't think anyone would give 2nd round pick for him right now. So lets go with a third rounder.

Carpenter has done nothing he might get you a 5th, but more likely a 6th round pick

So you think two 3rds and a 6th would get us Boldin??????

Dallas set the price of a WR a first and a third and that is where Arizona sets the price.

Very true. To get something of great value you must be willing to give up something of great value the ideal of players like Ellis a player on the tail end of his career and Carpenter who has shown nothing, will get you much is pretty far fetched. As for guys like Barbar or Choice why would we want to weaken another position? We can add a WR in the draft and add them to the mix that we currently have a WR and keep areas of the team that are strong in tact I would think would be the better move

Nicks is going at the end of the 1st round, IMO.

If everyone thinks Nicks will be as good as Boldin he'd be gone by at least the 15th pick.
