Would the Eagles bench Jalen Hurts?

Thats only cause Dallas locals fans and media don’t put this type of pressure on the team. Jerry is lucky he is in Dallas. Jerry would’ve been ran out of town a long time ago.
I hate to tell you this but fans and media have NEVER ran an owner out of town.. now congress and the other owners they have. Jerry doesnt care about what the media says only that they are talking about him.. the Fans well lol...

I'm not sure how you can say that some of the blame is not Dad's fault... I see bad decisions all the time by him , even now that he is doing better.. he takes sacks instead of easily getting rid of the ball, he throws for 40 yards on 3rd and 5 on critical drives against great teams, regularly.

The OC give him a play but he has multiple reads and targets for that play.. 90% of the time you should be throwing the 5 yards for a first down, not the go for it all pass. He is not even very accurate on long balls , most of the time, even more reason to stop that behavior. It was Pickens ability to pull back and out jump defenders that allowed him to complete a few of those passes in the eagles game.

He has a part in the blame, imo. If you do not agree, then we will have to agree to disagree.
OK blame chart one through 10 he's 10... 10th on the chart because you can't even put them higher because when you're in games where nobody's open you're not blocking well there's no run game you're one dimensional and your defense is not playing great even if it's playing average sometimes you force balls sometimes you have to make decisions either quicker or less quick and now you're blaming sacks on him when you don't even bring in the damn perspective and context He's being forced to play high risk ball and you don't see it...

Is Jalen Hurts or Kevin Patullo the Real Problem for the Eagles Offense?

Benching Hurts and Moving On
If the Eagles do make the once unfathomable choice to bench Hurts and ultimately go on to fare better with McKee at the helm—potentially even defending their title with the backup under center—it could lead to one of the most intriguing quarterback controversies in league history.
It wouldn't be unprecedented for a backup to emerge as a superstar after supplanting the starter. Hurts himself stepped in for an ineffective Carson Wentz just over a half-decade ago and never relinquished the role. Wentz hadn't won a Super Bowl the previous season, nor made it to the big game a couple years prior, which makes this one of the more interesting hypothetical scenarios that has a chance (albeit an extremely small one) of playing out over the next few months.
For the season it is more Patullo. Last week it was clearly more Hurts. Hurts is horrible when he doesn't run. If he isn't going to run or is injured and can't run he probably shouldn't be out there.

18 of the 31 NFL franchises that aren’t the defending champions have fewer wins this season than the Philadelphia Eagles. I’m reminded of the bumper sticker you’d sometimes see on the back of an old, beat up car. “I may be slow, but I’m ahead of you”.

Kind of a bizarre comment. You say that as if there is one player on an NFL team.
With a different QB they have one more win last week, so only 4 teams would have more wins...

Indy would take him.
Any of us may get a call to QB the Colts, so stick close to your phone. Me? I’m not letting some 20-something year old kid at the height of his athletic abilities turn my body to dust, so I’ll pass.

It’s not the # of wins the Eagles have, it’s their total collapse over the last several games. If the playoffs started today and we were both in it, I’d like chances over theirs. Their offense is putrid.

Maybe they are saving his running ability for the play offs...but it has reached the point whereby if that's the case they will probably let him run as they might have to win out if the Cowboys do as well.
Yeah, that's BSPN fabrication, it's not done.

Can't disagree.

Most people don't understand that these people live in a different world than we do. Most do not pay attention to what the "commoners" say or think. They don't care.

Missing Kellen Moore

Meh. Sort of, but any given Sunday is just a saying to give one hope.
If that's how you see it, sure.

Any Given Sunday is also a statistical fact as far as what we already know about what actually happens.

So it depends on how you look at it.

No, it means that a poor team can beat a good team sometimes. That's not how I see it, that's what it means.

Statistical fact? That bad teams can beat good teams sometimes? Well non tish. Everyone knows it happens, I have no idea why you would need statistics.

Wait... Bench Hurts? But I've been told that he's the best quarterback in the NFCE. Something isn't lining up here.

That just means you're talking to the wrong people again.

When you spend most of your time here in those absolutely horrid Dak threads, you're going to get an inaccurate pic of most things.

“the # of wins” wins the divisions. The Cowboys don’t get to play their “putrid” offense again. This is another season of wishful thinking.

The Eagles aren't playing well right now. But I doubt they lose to the Raiders at home. I'm not sure the Raiders score 10 points.

In the past, QBs have been benched during games that were getting out of hand when they were having a bad day. It happened 7-8 years ago to Tom Brady. Not starting your star QB is another story.

Hurts cannot be a successful QB w/o running the ball profusely. He's subpar as a passer.

That's why you don't draft running QBs high in the draft. They are only good for 1-5 years. Why? Because they take way too much of a pounding.
6-3 playoff record with a Super Bowl win on his resume. I'd say they got a pretty good return on investment, even if his career is cut short. Unfortunately for the Eagles, Hurts has elite weapons across the board on offense and isn't getting any better as a passer. Can't spend that kind of cash on offense and expect to consistently compete with the best if the QB isn't producing.

If playing at home (not sure) those fans would storm the field and not in a good way they lose to that team.
