He's already at that level.
Now Parcells uses analytics, too.
He just uses it at the racetrack instead.
oh Umm Ok.
HE'S a winner. Has the pedigree and the Gonads to hire and fire folks...he is the Anti Garrett..THE ALPHA MALE IN THE ROOM...THE 1 VOICE AND LEADERSHIP THIS CLUB HAS BEEN CLAMORING FOR SINCE THE TUNA AND JIMMY J. I HAVE 1000% FAITH IN THIS PLAN.
The Andy Reid coaching tree:
Brad Childress, John Harbaugh, Steve Spagnola, Leslie Frazier, Ron Rivera, Pat Shumer, Todd Bowles, Doug Pederson, Sean McDermott, Matt Nagy. 7 of the 10 have taken their team to the playoffs, two won the Super Bowl.
Mike McCarthy coaching tree:
Joe Philbin, Bob McAdoo, Jeff Jagodzinski (NCAA, Boston College for two years)
ITS just incredible how insane some fans get calling a guy we just hired a fraud..lol.. I thought it was a joke at first, but found out they are serious.
I think about it that way, too.
If everybody held themselves to such high standards..
they would not have time to post here.
Packers offense was better with Big Mac
So now we have to compare COACHING TREES to determine a coaches success?
40 years ago maybe.
Landry and Lombardi would qualify as true, but Don Shula and others not?
I want Mike McCarthy to turn out like Mike McCarthy. The man lead a perennial contender and won a SB. The Packers were always mentioned with the likes of NE, Sea and Pitt. McCarthy as much as anyone seemed to always have to compensate for a porous OL, crap D, no running game or a dozen guys on IR, but his guys were ready to play and he nearly always had his team in the tournament.
Landry has one more Lombardi than McCarthy, but the magic of the Cowboys during his time as HC was that they were always contenders. As a fan, that is all I ask. Keep my team in hunt and McCarthy certainly delivered that in GB.
MM had some very good playcalling initially and the Packers were unstoppable.
Nobody wanted to play them, especially in GB.
Someone was curious so I put this up. I don't recall any part of my post where I said a coaches' success and his coaching tree are related.
Not even a top 10 QB this year. Yea, the year they have a great record are #2 seed. They are doing it with defense, the running game and no Ted Thompson.
It just infers it by including it in the post.
Was not sure how to take it.
Hasn't taken us to a NFC Championship yet. That's why I say he's headed in that direction.
Owens took that Eagles team to the SB, not McNabb, but I get what you mean.
Notice I said NFC Championships not the Super Bowl. McNabb took them to four.
Ok you win.
The only winning I care about is the Cowboys winning a Super Bowl. We both can get behind THAT.
