Would you do this trade?

Yeah, yeah, it's another trade thread but I'm tired of discussing the Pats game and hadn't seen this trade proposal yet.

I think the Browns pick will end up being in the 6-10 range. IF McFadden is gone and IF the Saints would be willing to do this (humor me), would you trade the Browns pick to N.O. for Reggie Bush? This would allow MBIII to be the starter w/ Bush picking up 10-12 rushes/game. This would also allow Garrett to maximize Bush's abilities by lining him up everywhere: slot receiver, out of the backfield, etc. Plus, I still believe Bush is better than Slaton & Rice. If McFadden is gone, I don't see another RB or WR worthy of that high of a pick AND I don't support packaging our other first rounder to move up to get McFadden (like to see us go for a CB w/ our second 1st rounder). What do you think?

The Saints would say no in less than a second and no I think Bush = overated but I do agree that the Browns won't be as bad as we want them to be but they will get a top ten pick.

He's probably untradeable because he is the face of N.O...

and if they were entertaining offers, it would take a lot more than 1 draft pick, no matter how high, to get him.

Put me in the minority then. I am less than impressed with Reggie Bush. He certainly isn't a back that can run between the tackles 20 times a game.

No thanks, there are playmakers between picks 6-10. And this draft is very deep at RB. We can pick one up with our second first rounder.

I agree. To me Bush is a very poor man's Brian Westbrook. He was supposed to revolutionize the RB position, but he's been less then impressive. We'll see how he does the rest of the season without having Deuce wear down the defense.

Yes. Anyone with half a brain would.

I think I would wait and see how NO utilizes Bush's special skills, because so far in '07, Bush hasn't amounted to much.

I'm not sure how the Cowboys could insert him into the offense, and make it a worthwhile #1 pick contribution.

Interesting, it's about half & half for the Zoners doing this trade. The reason I wanted input was because I know a lot of Saints fans down here and a majority of them would do this trade. Heck, I WOULDN'T do this trade if I were the Saints braintrust but the Saints fans I know actually would. I told them I'd do the trade like, yesterday. They must be in the minority compared to other Saints fans.....

As long as teams are indulging us for no good reason whatsoever, I'd rather trade that pick to San Diego for LT, or to Minny for AD. :D

That's because they watch him play ever week, while most people just see the highlights and the commercials.

The Browns are playing WAY better than I thought. We'll be lucky to grab a top 10 from them.

No, I wouldn't. If McFadden is gone I am perfectly happy drafting another player and even another position.

The Broncos season isnt looking so hot and they could use a LB to help out vs the run maybe they would trade us Bailey for Carpenter and a 1st.

If given a choice between the two, I'd rather have Larry Fitzgerald than Reggie Bush.
