I've been critical of Romo this off-season, no doubt, but I can't think of anyone I would trade him for at this point. 5-6 years ago I would have taken Manning (Peyton) or Brady. But as it stands, Peyton is closer to retiring than he is to being anywhere for the long haul, and until Brady shows a full recovery, he's damaged goods.

So, no. Romo is our guy.

And This.

Does that answer your question?

Just because he's better than Quincy and that other pathetic joke, doesn't make him great. That makes him better than them, that's all. BTW, those fools played with horrible WRs.

I am big Romo fan.
While I do believe he blew an opportunity or two. He is still early in his career.

You live. You learn. (well with Romo we will see(hope))

He is the face of the franchise.
He is the franchise QB.
When he is right. He is close to great(in his own way, playing HIS game)

In summary: Romo gets, deservedly so, TIME.

Its as simple as that.

Jerry wouldnt give up three #1 picks for Romo. Thats obvious.

That is exactly what might end up on his tombstone:

Pretty good and he damn sure was better than Quincy Carter and Chad Hutchinson.

In terms of QBs in our franchise history, he would be a distant sixth right now behind Aikman, Staubach, White, Meredith and even Morton (as in another thread). A few playoff wins, he'll edge up. A Super Bowl vaults him to third. He's got everything else.

What about Roethlisberger? You know that guy that won the Super Bowls, or are you're alright with not making or winning a play off game?

When can we get the true Cowboy fans back, the one's interested in winning only?

Yea I would of traded romo. Bigger arm, younger, accurate in mid to long passes and has played with half the talent romo has. The upside is bigger for Cutler.

Maybe romo can prove me wrong. Actually i hope He proves me wrong.

Roethlisberger gets to play 13-10 ball every sunday because he has a defense that he can rely on.

Romo doesn't.

Big Ben is a heck of a QB but he wouldn't have a title here in Dallas.

Not with the way our defense likes to collapse.

He's clutch. Aikman was clutch. Staubach was clutch. Danny White, Not clutch. So far, Romo is Danny White.

Hell no, Cutler is overrated beyond belief.

If Tony had Cutler's 23-18 TD/INT ratio the fans and media would be all over him.

Just look at Tony's 07/08 year. One of the top QB's that season and he was still catching flack.

I don't know if Cutler fails in playoff situations.

I know for sure Tony does.

Yes, a thousand times yes.
