Would you just start the game with Henry at FS

Considering you have one of the top TE's in the league wouldn't it make sense just to start Henry this week at FS and just bring Roy in on running downs?

I like Roy but he can't handle Winslow.

Or do we start the rookie at RCB? the one who hasn't played in a regular season game period?

I don't believe positions are just so interchangable that you can just plug people in. If need be, he is nice insurance, but keep him where he is at. I would rather have Henry and RC than Jones or a rookie right now.

The defense called determines who and how the TE is covered. They aren't going to leave Roy on an island with Winslow.

I wouldn't. I'd make Winslow have to be used more as a blocker by bringing more blitz packages.

I'd rather they react to us than we react to them.

What is a running down? How do we classify it? 3rd and 2? 2nd 4? There is no down in football that is a running down.

We all know Roy has problems in coverage. The coaches know it, he knows it, you should not be worried about him covering winslow. You should be wondering if our pass rush is as good as advertised. Because if it is, then DA/Quinn won't have the time to get the ball to winslow down the field.

You don't help your team by benching a pro-bowler.

I would have no issue starting Pacman for this game. Against their passing game I would consider starting the game in the nickel and seeing if I could stop their running game that way first anyway.

Ware and Ellis on the outside. Spears and Ratliff on the inside and Bradie and Zach as the LB's. Hamlin and Henry are both good against the run. It is possible, I would try it.

I think Vela nailed it when he said to expect the Cowboys to spend a lot of time in their "nickel" with the three main corners on the field. Don't know if it matters if Henry is out there as a corner or as a FS as long as Newman, A Jones and Henry are in the game at the same time.

Cleveland does not have a great running attack. They quite often flex out Winslow leaving 6 blockers & a back.

Yes let's put a guy who hasn't played safety in the nfl before, Henry was a nickle safety not a true safety, and a guy who hasn't played in a season and half out on the field together.

I'm assuming you're putting Newman, Pacman, and Jenkins as your 3 CB's, and Henry as your FS.

I think they have a style of running that would punish nickel defenses.

If we want to win, we need to impose our will on this game. We shouldn't play dress up with the browns. We should walk out there and make them react to us. We are the real dawgs in that pound. They are nothing but imitators.
