Would you pay to watch training camp?

If DC.com streamed the video and provided it as premium content, would you pay to watch it?

I am so starved for Cowboy football, I would.

I think at first I would. But after a while, it may get to be the same thing everyday. If they would limit it to scrimmages and such so you would get bored too quickly. It would keep my interest more.

Plus, unless if you have a lot of time on your hands, it would be a time killer.

Well, I paid $5 for parking at TC last year, not to mention the hundreds of dollars I spent just to travel there...all for 2 practices.

So, yes, I would pay to see TC via video.

A resounding yes. If I didn't have two young kids I would take two weeks of vacation and fly there to see it in person every year. No question about it.

Remember though, that if something is televised then opposing scouts could get it too. I can't imagine Bill ever allowing something like this.

Do you guys remember something called "Extreme Access" from the Chan Gailey era? They allowed video and audio in the lockerroom at halftime, exclusively on DC.com. Bad idea.

I wouldn't. Free media coverage is sufficient for me. There is a bunch of it out there. No chance I'd have the time to watch the hours of live streaming.

Possibly if it were cheap enough. But it is not going to happen because it would give our opponents an open line to everything we are trying to do. Parcells would never stand for it as paranoid and secretive as he is.

They can't sell it or I should say they would be stupid to sell it. If they did, then every other team would be allowed to purchase and watch it. Same rule that applied to the Skins a few years back when they charged admission to training camp. Every team that was going to play them had people in attendance.

Pokes28 hit the nail right on the head. Scouts are not permitted to TCs that are free. If you pay admission to TC, then scouts can attend. Providing streaming TC footage would enable scouts to view everything. As paranoid as Parcells is, I doubt this will ever happen.
