we will come out 2-5 at best, which is good enough for a 10-6 9-7 first place finish. 8-8 might even win the division seeing how bad it is.

With how this division looks yeah we get Romo, Dez and the rest of our defense the last... what 7 games? Yup I'll take that in a heartbeat we might get 11 wins in that scenario

I hate to say it, but yes.

I feel like Weeden should be better, but I just know he isn't.

And I think 9-7 can take this division.

Agreed 100%. This is the realistic goal for the rest of this season and can be done. Teams will gameplan for Weeden, so I fully expect to see his status quo performance over the next 8 weeks.

I'd take it...as long as it means Dallas is still in the mix. However, I keep remembering that Matt Cassell went 10-5 and the Pats went 11-5 without Tom Terrific. That was due to great coaching, great talent acquisition by the front office and some luck here and there. Our coaching staff and front office will be on full display during this stretch. How well can the coaches disguise weaknesses without #9 and #88 on offense? How strong is the teams depth and overall talent?

We will see...but I am optimistic until I see reason not to be...

My gut is 2-5... but I was wrong the last time I made a prediction (preseason 2014) so maybe I can be wrong again. I've been so freaking depressed all day. I mean, I've barely spoken a word to anyone. :( Just praying we can hold the fort... better than the Alamo. lol.

That gives me hope, but Kitna was a pretty noticeable step up from what Weeden is. However, I don't think it's completely out of the realm of possibility that Weeden surprises us a little. I wouldn't put money on it or anything, but this is his last chance to make an impression if he ever wants another shot at starting in this league.

Our best guess is that Romo is gonna miss 7 games.

So my question is simple: if you had the option right now to take a 3-4 record over the next 7 games for an overall record of 5-4 and then get Romo and Dez back healthy, would you take it? Or would you pass because you feel like we could do better?

Would I take that? Yes. Do I think it's feasible? Yes. Am I expecting it? No.

Weeden has been a very poor starter in his career. I'm expecting 2-5 at best and hoping for more.

If we go 2-5, the way the East is shaping up, Romo might have to lead Dallas to a 6-1 record, but might can get by with 5-2.

If it's eight games, I won't be surprised by 2-6, and Romo and the Boys having to finish 6-0.

No other NFC East team is getting to 8-8 and the second half of our schedule is way easier than the first. So yea. 3-4 or even 2-5 should be fine... Its probably going to be a long 7 weeks but it will end

5-4 with a healthy team, with the final games being Dolphins, Panthers, Commanders, Packers, Jets, Bills and Commanders?

Yeah, I'd take that in a heart beat. Honestly, I would predict winning 5 of the last 6 in that scenario.
