Let me see a couple games of Dak and I'll get back to you.

You can't judge Dak on a couple games. He needs a year or 2. Romo's great when healthy and ON THE FIELD. You'd be stupid not to trade him for a high pick. He hasn't played in 2 years.....

They would only consider it if he was able to play now.

I would only consider it because he can't play now.

You can't trade an injured player so it would mean Romo was healthy.

A healthy Romo is worth more than Sam Bradford.

Some of these guys are hilarious.

Yes.

He's a big salary cap hit and I have zero confidence that he's going to stay healthy.

You'd be foolish not to, but nobody would offer that for Romo.

From a football standpoint, the answer is yes, you would take the 1 and 4 for Romo. I am a huge fan, but the bottom line is he's 36 with a body that's always going to be one big hit away from the end.

However, since Romo is 36 and so beat up, I want him to end his career in a Cowboys uniform, whether that's three more years or three more games.

Of course!

Dak Prescott's a proven superstar! Well, okay, it's only been preseason...

But everyone knows elite QBs are a dime a dozen! Hit the road, #9!!!

Nobody would offer a 1st and a 4th.

The question is moot.

Absolutely....but who trades for a 36 year old injured QB?
The trade for Bradford is in a whole different realm...younger, healthier, will take direction...they proved last year they could manage a game with Teddy. This was a good deal for both teams.

having 2 firsts might go a long way towards fixing this defense. I'd probably take the deal

Lets just say that Dak proves to be the future after this season, what could Romo realistically bring in as far as trade value for 2017? I guess thats a better question than would you take a 1st and 4th rounder

No. If Romo is healthy, and that's a huge if, then there's nobody in the world who is better equipped to run Garrett's offense. Romo is still our best hope at winning a Super Bowl within the next couple of seasons. Romo and the Cowboys are past due, keep the faith.

With his injury history and risk now he doesn't have any trade value.

He might have before the latest injury.
