Would you take J. Stewart at #28

If Jonathan Stewart is still around at #28 would you pull the trigger. I would and here's why. I really don't think we're going to take a WR in the 1st round unless Desean Jackson is their. I think TO has a few more years, we signed Crayton and I think Jones really likes Hurd/Stanback. Getting Stewart gives us more flexiblity next year when we're in contact talks with MBIII. Get a CB at #22 and then take Stewart at #28. 2nd round we can grab an Eddie Royal or DT.

Just a thought since some "experts" are saying he's going to fall to the 2nd round.

I think I would too, and I don't even think RB is a 1st round need.

Oh he'll probably be there at 28, but I wouldnt take him

spread offense= struggle in NFL

he's also injury plagued and coming off toe surgery

Depends on how long he's going to be out. I'd be a little averse to taking him if he's going to be out for 5 months because he has to learn the pro game and missing the rookie camp and then a lot of training camp would slow down that process. Dallas does need a tailback that can contribute right away and I wouldn't be keen on a guy that is delayed in the learning process trying to pick up a blitz.

If it wasn't for the fact I think CB is a greater need, I'd take him at 22. From all accounts his injury isn't that serious and he should be ready by training camp, and he played on through the injury the last couple games of the season and did pretty well. I think it speaks of his toughness. The kid is an absolute beast.

I would take him. He solves our kr/pr problem also.

I dont think he returns punts....I could be wrong, but I never saw him do it in the few games I saw him play

I'm just not interested in using that high a pick on a RB that may not pan out in the NFL because he may not translate to a prostyle offense well, has injury problems and is coming off surgery too...WAY too many other good prospects who dont have those issues we could take

He's seems to catch the ball out of the backfield pretty well. Doesn't necessarily complement Barber.

But Thunder and Thunder doesn't sound so bad.

Why can't 2 backs be the sames, can u guy imagine Barber coming out the game for breather and a replacement back like barber came into the game to sub for him..... 2barbers is better than a barber and Juluis jones.....

He's faster than Barbarian too. I'd be all over him at 28. Maybe 22. We need to do our due diligence though to see if his injury is really just minor.

I think he would have done better in a pro style offense in college than the spread. No lead blocker hurt him for sure.

The kid does not go down on first contact.

If the injury isn't serious, I would take him at 28.

Yes, too good a value to pass up at that point in the draft!
