Would you trade #27 for Le'veon Bell?

After his conviction and 15 months probation for marijuana. He will probably be suspended for 2 games.

He is under contract for 2 more years for less than 1m per year.

I would hope, we will have our RB issues solved by the time he could come help out. I would rather keep JJ Wilcox.

If you Franchise him after 2016, it's basically 3 years for 10m.

That's against 4yrs/4m for a rookie and not knowing if they could handle the running and passing duties.

OR

Spending our First on DL and signing Murray to a 4yr/24m deal

Hes not leaving the steelers

You never know until you ask. The Rooneys may have a zero tolerence policy.

I'm wondering if people here would look past the weed to get a young, talented, 3 down back.

If we couldn't get Murray re-signed I would probably do it knowing how close we are.

In a heart beat. I'd take Bell for the #27 pick, but we sure as hell better get pass rushers in the later rounds and FA.

Right. We've already got Randle on the roster so might as well add another idiot - makes 2.

I don't dispute the risk involved, but Bell is way too talented. He may be the next big thing at RB. Joseph Randle is a question mark with issues.

I believe that there is no reason whatsoever to make substantial moves at RB prior to working free agency and the draft. We first need to try to flip the defensive line into at least a strength on paper--- not depth but a weapon! Any move sooner than that I would hope is caused by Murray deciding he really wants to stay to chase a ring at the cost of striking a Cowboy and Murray-friendly deal. If his sights are set on what the market is for him, I am good with that. Let him shop.

I would rather roll with an above average defensive lineman and an average RB than the opposite. If we can do both, fantastic but I'm shooting at the D line first.

I was only comparing the two from the "idiocy" standpoint.
