Would you trade Leary for a RB?

I actually really like Leary. And I wish Dallas could find a way to sign him to a 3 year extension. That way we can let this be a redshirt year for Collins....and then move Collins to RT next year.

Dallas decided that "anybody" can run behind this OL. So if they all of a sudden are nervous about what they got...I would not wait until after camp to address the issue.

Green could very well be a good player at T, if he can get on the field and begin to prove his worth. But let's not get carried away just because you followed Green's career since HS, thus making you feel like a Chaz Bono, I
mean Green expert.
Collins is fairly well versed in more than just one position, and is earning his stripes as we speak, unlike somebody.

Again, do not listen to my opinion, listen to the COACHES..... all the information regarding this position is there....given as recently as last Friday

I'm a big fan of just about anyone the Cowboys bring to the team. I want them all to succeed. I've been called a homer for doing so. And I could care less. It would be huge for the Cowboys if Chaz is the guy that you believe he is. I hope so.

I don't think guys like Weems are good enough to take over for Free when his time is up. I'm glad Collins can play more than one position, and hopefully Green keeps Collins strictly at G.

Lamar Miller, Carlos Hyde or Tre Mason. Thats it

If we do trade Leary for a HB it wont be for a few more weeks and only if 1) Collins looks like the clear winner of the OG competion 2) It appears certain we are going to be thin at HB with injuries. 3) A player of the caliber of the players I mentioned are available.

Leary for Lamar Miller from Miami would be absolutely perfect I believe. They are hurting on o-line, that's why they were trying so hard to sign La'el after the draft. Lamar Miller is a real good young RB who had 1100 yards on 216 carries last year. It would help both teams out, I think that we should listen if the Dolphins show any interest in Leary.

I think Miller could be more effective then Murray was last year. I don't think he will get the same numbers, because Randle and McFadden will cut into his touches more then they did with Murray

Would I trade our young starting guard for a young starting RB, possibly, depends on who it is. Would I trade our young starting guard for an old starting RB or a young back up RB, no.

The disrespect of Ronald Leary continues.

Im all for trading Leary if he loses the LG job and its not out of disrespect. I think if he loses that job he gives us an opportunity to improve our chances by dealing him. It would also be good for him as it would keep him on the field in a season in which he is playing for that all important 2nd contract.

Free is on this team next year too (too much to cut) though we might be able to cut him the year after... but with that being said, I wouldn't mind waiting to really play Collins year 3... but I am not sure he will be so patient.

Exactly..

Even if you pay for a vet you may not upgrade in talent.

Heck if you want a vet get a talented one like Tre Mason that is still on a rookie contract.

Randle may explode too and this is all irrelevant.

They've been talking about Randle even when Demarco was going off.

I can't see any team with a RB valuable enough for this that would be willing to give him up when they could just sign Evan Mathis.

Well teams ARE always looking for tackles. Just makes you wonder why a guy like him...with his physical tools lasted so long.

Every year we worry about a guy not making it to the PS. They almost always do. If he makes the 53 i'd be ecstatic.

He only started for 1.5 years in college, and was very technically raw. A developmental guy if there ever was one, but he has very good tools. Gibson is a very good athlete.

Hoping they can stash him and we can build him up. Would love it if we could book end our lines with the kind of athletes that Smith and Gibson are.

Why don't we trade Dez and Randle to the Eagles for Murray. Besides Lynch, he is the only real option.

Well I think your kidding, but a trade for murray would be good and funny.
I doubt chip would let him come back to dallas though , I imagine chip likes the dallas rb situation.,

I read Jay Ajayi is having a terrible camp in Miami. They are not parting with Lamar Miller.

Agreed. I'd love to see a guy with his hand size, length and mobility have a chance to develop. What a difference a couple of years make when the Cowboys go from having no depth on the line to having talent to develop. Night and day.
