He'll have to win back my admiration after "Toe-gate," but with TO gone, I'm hesitant to trade a player who has a nose for the endzone.

Firefox. Built in spell checker.

I believe ramification is the word you're looking for.

Yes, I would trade him. I love the guy but his shelf life will be short and we have other needs IMO. I would trade him for a first. Maybe not 32 but I would do that deal.

RB's are generally easy to find, we could get another Barber/Choice in 4th-5th round. Also Im much more worried about the OL and secondary than RB. I really wouldnt be worried about Choice and Felix starting. If healthy, they will be more than enough to win, wed need another vet/draft pick as insurance, but that wouldnt be as hard to find as a tackle, or safety.

Unless theres a huge cap hit that hurts for multiple years.

Barring that, Id trade him for the Cardinals pick(31st). Nice spot for a LT(Beatty), S(Sean Smith) or another pass rusher(Barwin, Sintim)
No.

Despite other needs on the team, a 3-man rotation means guys stay healthier down the stretch, (we all now how well we do down the stretch) and have as many quality, fresh bodies as possible is a good thing.

Barber, Jones and Choice are three different backs with three different styles That offers Garrett so much flexibility in both the running and passing games. I just hope Garrett moves beyond his simplified Tecmo playbook so plays don't become obvious depending on the personel out the field.

That 'Toe Gate' situation annoyed me too.

Just take the shot and get out on the field. There are plenty of players who do that for their team. Especially when it's the end of the season and your team is fighting for a playoff spot.

MBIII is quirky. And I am not saying he doesn't have the right to say no to a pain killer injection, but considering the contract he was just given and the importance of him to the offense you would have thought he would have done it.

Maybe that's why Jerry made his little comment. I kinda of think that's what happened in that situation. Jerry just assued MBIII would take the shot and be on the field and ready to go. He was probably in shock when he found out Barber said no to the shot. I know I was.

And if Choice hadn't played so well in his place I think Barber would have taken a lot more heat publicly for not doing it.

Only for something in the top 10 which would land us Crabtree. It could only be for a glaring weakness. WR is that IMO. And not to discredit RW11, but I think if he does give us anything it will be considerably short lived. That is not a receiver by any means of the measure whom I think will defy age. 2-3 years tops I think we get from him. Which would work perfectly if we were to draft a top prospect WR at this time.

I wouldn't trade him this year simply because this years draft isn't very deep for running backs. last year's class was so stacked that first round backs ended up being drafted in the second and third rounds. If we traded Barber, then we would need to find a solid backup that could step in and play in case of injury near the fourth round. unfortunately, there will not be much quality available in round four. One can argue that there isn't much quality beyond the first two or three backs (Moreno, Wells, brown). The only back that i would want that might be available in round four is James Davis from Clemson.

Marion the Barbarian is a Beast and I would say "No". Good, young, and field savvy RB's are hard to find and right now we have the Three Headed Beast (Barber, Jones, & Choice). If anything I would pick up and extra back for insurance so we won't have the problem we ran into last year when Jones was out for the season, and Barber got hurt.

Wow. A lot more people are down on Barber than I would have guessed.
