What is agravating to me is that I really don't think Pittsburg is all that great of a team, nor is their QB as good as the hyped up talk about him. I mean he is ok...but he is not a superstar in my opinion!
Yep , I want a re-match....we sooooooo had them beat....grrr...I don't even like to think about that game anymore...LOL

I agree with most of that. I think Big Ben is way overrated, and that mostly he's a good game manager with decent talent.

Pittsburgh is good because they have a great defense, and really that's it.

I hate Pittsburgh and don't want them even sniffing the Super Bowl any time soon, I can think of nothing more vile in football than if New England and Pissburgh prevail to the AFC Championship, I will root for Indy, Tennessee and San Diego to prevent that.

As for the NFC it will be between the NFC East and NFC South.

New York, Dallas, Philly, Atlanta and New Orleans are all in the running at this point.
I considered that I do not want the Stealers to even sniff the SB...And I don't want them to UNLESS they are there to LOSE to the Cowboys. The beauty of beating them in the SB is that SB losers are often given a worse rap than teams that don't even make it to the Big Show. Look at some of the losers and how they seem to fall apart the year after a SB lose...It would be SOOooooo sweet to see us take them out in the SB and then see them completely disintegrate the next year.

Could've been that way in 07 had we survived the Giants game. That was about as easy of a road as you're going to get.

We have as good a chance as anybody in the NFC. NE looks good in the AFC. I think we can beat Indy and Pitt (gave them game last year at Pitt). Just have to stay healthy and not beat ourselves like we did in '07.

I really don't know if I'll ever get over that game. I can deal with getting beaten by a better team, but that was just self-destruction. About a dozen penalties (most unforced and a couple of huge bad calls), dropping TDs and an enormous 3rd down, clutch throw. Thank you again Crayton, Fasano and Hoculi. We out gained them by over 100 yds, had the ball for 13 more minutes, Barber had over 100 yds in the 1st half and we held their offense to less than 100 yds in second half. It takes actual effort to beat yourself when that occurs. Then Eli throws 2 game losing picks in the SB only to have them dropped by the DBs. Tyree pulls that miracle out of his butt and Eli (who led the league in turnovers that year) becomes a "winner". It really has not gotten better. Just win the SB Dallas. Please. Sigh...

I don't think Dallas had the gameplan to beat New England, the talent yes, the psyche was lacking especially since they got drilled in garbage time earlier in the season by the pats, similar to how Dallas played Baltimore last year.

I don't think we would have necesarily won the SB that year, but we should have been there. We were better than the Giants and Pack. We totally beat ourselves. Our D matched up poorly with NE's passing game, but Brady wasn't 100 percent and we showed we could score on them that year. A turnover or bounce and we certainly could have beaten them. Thank you again Fasano, Crayton, Hochuli, Reeves etc.. Sickening...

To have something like a Dallas vs Indy or Dallas vs NE superbowl?

Have us as the underdogs in a battle between Romo and Brady and Romo lead a comeback in the 4th quarter to spark a dynasty?!

A fan can dream :)

We can beat the LA Clippers for all I care...as long as we beat them in the SB!

Me too. I would love to shatter the dreams and then mock a certain friend of mine. That's my dream match-up this year.

You have a Steeler friend. I have a whole entire family of in-laws, a wife, and co-workers who are big Steeler fans. Oh how I would love to mock them all. That would be great!

Spot on girlfriend. We sure did have them beat. But since they have four-leafed clovers coming out of their a**h**es, they are tough to beat. Not to mention, the refs are usually in favor of the Steelers as well.

I can't stand reminiscing over last year's game. I was so pissed.

Yeah, I feel bad for you. One Steeler friend is bad enough--but a whole family of them? You must have a lot of patience... you are a stronger man than I.
