Now i am not going to go through all the trouble of looking up and typing out all the names but take a look around the league at the WR position.

Let's take some of the really good teams.

1st the Chargers.... Who are their WR and how are they better than what we have? Here is what they have..
Osgood, Kassim WR 6'5" 220 5/20/1980 5 San Diego State
Parker, Eric WR 6'0" 180 4/14/1979 6 Tennessee
Naanee, Legedu WR 6'2" 226 9/16/1983 0 Boise State
Floyd, Malcom WR 6'5" 225 9/8/1981 2 Wyoming
Jackson, Vincent WR 6'5" 241 1/14/1983 3 Northern
Davis, Craig WR 6'1" 202 10/2/1985 0 Louisiana State

Really strikes fear in your hearts doesnt it?

How about our divisional rivals the Eagles?

Brown, Reggie WR 6'1" 197 1/13/1981 3 Georgia
Curtis, Kevin WR 6'0" 186 7/17/1978 5 Utah State
Avant, Jason WR 6'0" 212 4/20/1983 2 Michigan
Lewis, Greg WR 6'0" 180 2/12/1980 5 Illinois
Baskett, Hank WR 6'4" 220 9/4/1982 2 New Mexico

Wow look out Canton. Here comes the eagles WR's. and they throw more than anyone in the league.

Now all i ask is for you chicken little's to think about the WR position really seriously. Think of how many of the playoff teams last year had such amazing receivers.
Sure the colts do.. Do the bears? Do the saints? Did the Patriots?

So before we keep this "season is over" garbage going, just think about this for awhile.
If we are a good team with Terry Glenn then we are a good team without terry glen. No WR is that special. Especially Terry Glenn.

In fact other than the colts the next 2 teams that have a standout reciever corp suck pretty badly. The Lions and the Cardinals.

Cowboys don't have the luxury of relying on LT. Cowboys don't have McNabb or that offensive line. I think with the pieces we have, we need Terry Glenn to become a "great" offense. Without him, I think we're just a "good" offense.

My point is that you can't compare our situation to the Chargers or the Eagles since they have totally different players at other positions.

hey Crayton and Hurd will have good numbers.Look at the saints last year, god Terrence copper did good.and Henderson and Colston thrived because of Brees,Colston isnt a number one on many teams. Its on Romo to make a reciever a star sometimes, like Mccflabb and Brees does.

Who cares about SD and Philly-our WR corps are pretty darn good, even sans Glenn.

Kasim Osgood is excellent on special teams, never plays WR, and Eric Parker's out for many weeks with a toe injury. WR has been SD's weakness, but will be better soon, with 2 good rookies(Davis and Naanee).

Huh?? What about Patrick Crayton and Sam Hurd for us? Aren't they pretty good too?

Crayton's very good, and Hurd may be also, but neither of them is a rookie(which Naanee and Davis both are).
I was just replying to the post which suggested that Osgood was a SD receiver, and that San Diego's receivers were inept. Osgood never plays at WR...he's great on kickoff coverage. San Diego's receivers certainly were not good last year, but they'll be improved(they have to...they couldn't be that bad again).
Naanee's best comparison is our Stanback. Naanee, another converted QB was drafted 5th round, after Stanback.

Colston is too a number one on most teams, I disagree.
