thread after thread, doesnt matter the topic, Everything turns into Jerry should fire himself and hire a real GM, or Why is Garrett still the coach?

READ THIS: Garrett isnt going anywhere for at least another season!! if he was he wouldve been fired already!! (let that marinate for a few mins)

Look at the Jets for example, they have fired their GM, their OC, its plain as day Rex Ryan is staying!!

I was one that thinks Garrett shouldve been fired, but rather than stressing about it post after post, thread after thread, minute after minute, get a grip on yourselves, its not happening!!

was it fair to fire Ryan? probably not, should we hire a OC (playcaller) probably so.

people should turn their attention towards other offseason topics, such free agents, the draft, etc etc

Nice try. But how can we do that when we don't know who will be coaching them now? Defense, Offense, ST's? 3-4, 4-3, WCO, JG's offense, Norv, etc.?????

you would deny the hoards their pound of flesh?..... :D

You wasted a lot of typing........but I agree with you. He isn't going anywhere so whats the point of stressing about it?

These folks whine more than my three daughters, collectively! :D

we can discuss all of that, but under the assumption Garrett will be back next season. will make this place alot better and enjoyable

I think Jerry is committed to Garrett and is going to stick with him until it's completely obvious that there is no future with him. Jerry has said continuity is important to him. I believe Jerry has a number in mind as to how long he will put up with JG if he continues to fail. Jerry hated to fire Wade, and I think he did it mostly because he knew Wade was not going to be here long term. He's going to be stubborn about this, and I respect him for it.
So, since I'm convinced that Jerry and Garrett are going to be here awhile, it frustrates me to listen to the constant whining about it. That being said, I also agree with Jerry to a point. I think he is correct in desiring continuity, and Garrett is a good choice for the head coach of the Dallas Cowboys. I do, however, think he's wrong about Garrett as OC. I'm not going to obsess about it and :bang2: though. It wont change a thing

yep, for a minute there I thought this was a place to speak freely, but I stand corrected.

Message Board Philosophical Discussion: Is there any real separation between those who "whine" and those who "whine" about the whining?

One that is not emotionally invested would seem to look upon it as whining regardless.

If you think Jerry is 100% sure who he's firing at this point, you're nuts , including Red

many people are going to start a sentence with "you have the right to your opinion" they will figure you know the ending, so i will share it with you. "but it better agree with me" and now you have the secret.

i will only beleive you if Jerry fires himself.

I think everyone (outside of those who are insanely heavily invested in Garrett) is just hoping against hope that Jerry does the right thing here. There's still a chance.

Maybe I should start posting about how I hate that the sun rises in the east. If I repeat myself enough times maybe we can switch the rotation of the earth.

If I demand a western sky sunrise in as many posts as possible, maybe -- just maybe -- something will happen. Or maybe I'd just be wasting time stating the same thing over and over again and poisoning every other conversation with the same old drivel.

My opinion matters! Even if there is zero chance of my wishes coming true, I can still interject the same boring opinion into every thread and start NEW threads on the same topic. That would really add to this site.

It would be extra special if I could figure out a way to cry about being oppressed by anyone who got tired of my repetitive rants clogging up all these conversations. When I make a point it's what needs to be said, but if anyone gets tired of it I can just use some Orwellian reference to claim persecution. OH THE OPPRESSION!!!

See you've gone from 100% sure to "pretty clear" Garrett isn't getting fired.

Keep reading, we'll have you turned around in no time.:laugh1:
