but let's look at the big picture,,,we have alot of young guys in key positions

romo - 1st year playing
JJ- 3rd year
Barber-3rd year
Hoyte- rookie
Gurode - young guy
Crayton - young guy
DWARE - 2nd year
Spears - 2nd year
Ratliff - 2nd year
Canty - 2nd year
Burnett - 2nd year
Carpenter-rookie
Watkins-rookie
Hatcher- rookie

and there are others...i bet there is no team that is playing this many young guys this much with as good as a record as we have...if that is true then we are ahead of schedule...see the big picture and just get ready because they will all get better in these losses....it just may not happen right now but in two years come talk to me...

Actually the jury is still out for alot of those players.

You hit the nail on the head. Also, in a better case scenerio, I would like to see more offense lineman in a list of good young players on my favorite team.

Jury certainly is out on a lot of our guys- but honestly at the end of 2 years you pretty much usually have a good feel for the player. Now some take a full 3, but not many. We need another pass rusher- a nasty one- and we need to replace Rivera on the line. We will probably be in good shape if we do that- AND WE GET AGRESSIVE ON DEFENSE. NO MORE READ AND REACT BS.

Certainly better than when our lineup included Wane McGarrity, Mario Edwards, Chris Brazzell, Jason Tucker and Woody Dantzler but as Mick wrote, we still don't know if those guys will be great or just serviceable.

I may be in the minority, but I just dont think the Offensive Line is all that bad. I think alot of it has to do with Coaching and they also had to block for Bledsoe.

Rivera is the only one that needs to go, they had a bad game but this Team is #3 overall in offense.

People dont like to hear this, because it is like saying we need more Tight Ends on this team, but I really would like to go Pass Rush heavy in the draft, if some are available.

We need to get 1-2 more guys that can rush the passer.

that will fix alot of ailments on this team.

Mick, do we need better rushers or just allow the ones we have to rush the passer? that is the one thing I waffle on constantly.

Not sure.

More informed posters about the college level I believe have stated that alot of the guys that make up our Front 7 were not strong Pass Rushers in college.

Not sure, I didnt watch guys like Spears, Canty, Carpenter, Ratliff etc etc alot in College.

I think the Scheme needs to be a little more creative and some more dynamic pass rushing on the outside besides Ware.

I thought these guys were busts

Seriously though I wish we could get more out of them but as you pointed out they are all very, very young - and even mis-used a majority of the time.

I think we all have just began to get a little frusterated since we have been disappointed for quite a while now and we thought Parcells could fix that.

Blah blah blah blah

Keep looking for that silver lining that isnt there, happy fans. This coaching staff sucks, this team is horribly overrated in every way, and we've lost two straight huge home games against average teams. We can have a 21 year old superstar at every position on the field, it doesnt mean jack **** if they aint winning.

If we are horribly overrated why then are you upset we lost to "average" teams?

We just lost to an 8-6 Eagles team without their Pro Bowl QB and All-world pass rusher, at home, on Christmas Day, on National television. Forgive me for havign some semblence of standards

This is getting a little ridiculous. We have a good team with some glaring holes. RG, LB, FS. those can be filled. The real problem is that some of our players are underperforming- as well as our coaches. Fill those holes and have our young players performing to their capabilities and we can beat anyone. Probably n ot going to happen with the present coaching staff.
