Holding the draft in America's second sin city.

Just when the NFL is hard at work to prove it isn't a league rife with thugs, New Orleans wants to host the NFL draft. And possibly with the backdrop of drinking, gambling and lots of women.

Perhaps its pitch has been that that city has been through a lot. Two years ago. Is this city gunning for perpetual victimization?

Better yet, have the Draft in Las Vegas. At least security there means something. That idiot mayor Ray Nagin might also be a reason to not have the NFL draft there. His racial slips are becoming legendary.

No one can throw a party like Nawlins! That said, I wouldn't go within 200 miles of the place ever again. But I think the idea of moving the Draft around to cities with no teams is a good idea.. gets other fans that can't go to games a chance to be a part of the NFL Experience.

My personal preference would be for the Draft to be annually held in Canton, Ohio, but all these implications of New Orleans being the second coming of Sodom and Gomorrah are becoming a bit tiresome.

Well, I know I did not imagine Cajun's post. It just disappeared. Into thin air. It was a good one, too.

Take it from Cajun, that city has a lot of problems and all they have to show for millions in reconstruction is an "entertainment" center for drunk people.

I hope the winking smiley means you are joking. I have lots of relatives in NO, and while I don't like the city, they are doing well raising their families. There are many good people there.

Sure the city has lots of problems, but it also has lots of good people also.
