You certainly don't bench him. I do think they will be working A LOT more w/ him on studying defense. It's almost like he doesn't understand whats coming at him.

He needs to do better. Thats not dissing RW. I like Roy, he just needs to do better.

He is tackling well thses day but he isn't making any big plays. When you have a player that the other team schemes to get him in coverage, you know you have a weak link. If this was anyone other that RW, he would have been replaced by now. I agree, he should not be on the field on 3rd and anything longer that 4 yards to go. Personally, I think he will be fased out gradually starting in the near future. We will not beat a real good team if its a close game because they will lick on Roy in the 4th quarter and we won't be able to stop them. If he isn't a Cowboy next year, I could care less!

You know what he is one of the hardest hitters in the game and we didn't pick him because of his cover skills. We got him because the man can hit. So to all of you people complaining about Roy. Coaching has to be analyzed with respect to Roy in coverage. It's not fair to put a player consistently in the position to fail. If he has a weakness fine. He has lots of strengths. It just seems he is in middle or deep coverage more than necessary. I say "seems". Teams are attacking him and trying to put him into this position.

Coaches need to help him out a bit. He is tackling very well last few weeks making solid plays, which is what I expect and respect. Now help him out.

He was bad, but I noticed on two completions the LB didn't do his job.

One was Ellis not getting deep enough and the pass was completed in front of him, and on the TD to Cooley I think Bradie James let him go and shouldn't have. It looked like both James and another were covering the same spot.

Having said that, I still didn't think he looked good. Too soft and slow...still.

It stinks of agenda when, as bad as Reeves and Hamlin got owned today, that all the criticism is for Roy.
