You get one former Cowboy for both offense and defense, go.

Deion's flamboyance sometimes distracts from just what a true "freak" he really was. By far and still the best pure cover corner to ever play the game.

Didn't say he wasn't a great player, and it really had nothing to do with his antics. I always felt like he ducked playing Moss his rookie year. He probably didn't and really was to hurt to play but that just stuck with me. Couldn't stand him from that point on.

Glad to see Woody getting some more credo as we get into the 3rd page.

All this whining about Jeff Heath and the other safeties and nobody wants to add one of the all-time greats, lol.

Erik Williams and Larry Allen......What defense we could have the 3rd string QB hand the ball off.

Emmitt and D Ware

Maybe Charles Haley over D Ware just to get that crazy mentality back.

TO / Ware

For those saying Staubach or Aikman, you'd rather have Aikman/Staubach with Bryant/Williams over Romo with Bryant/Owens or Irvin? Don't be silly..

Bob Lily- Mr Cowboy his name says it all plus all the dline help this squad needs
Larry Allen - This team could shore up that interior o-line.

pretty easy question to answer to me.

Those bombs over Kevin Mathis' head still burns my brain too :) To be fair, that was towards the end of his "dominant" era where he began to show signs of being human. I do hear your point about Moss though. But he ended up missing multiple games on top of that TDay massacre. Deion's confidence began to wane a bit around that time range stemming from the "toe" injury I shamefully mocked him for @ the time. I think it related more to him being injured and his ego not wanting to be "exploited." A healthy Deion would welcome that challenge. Think Rison/Irvin in his early days. He loved to step to the top dogs when he was healthy. Still love that Irvin had his number despite his talent (Irvin was the bigger alpha:D)

Side note: Campo's scheme of putting Deion 1 on 1 with the #2 while doubling the #1WR still bugs the hell out of me. Remember Deion chilling away from the team huddle every snap? Campo seemed to over think himself when he should have had Deion trailing the team's #1 or @ least change up the coverage scheme to throw a different look at opponents, etc. That wasted his talent and allowed teams to adapt to this coverage over time.

Troy and Woody... Man I would love to have Woody back...

I almost went that way but couldn't leave Deion off considering his status as the top CB ever to play. Woody is probably my favorite player as well (hit like Roy but one of the smartest players to ever play in my opinion), along with Aikman, LA, & Irvin. Dez is the only current player I can see admiring 10 years after he is gone, etc.
