We need some nasty

Exactly what I was thinking. Allen would take our OL to the next level and play anywhere on the line except center. Our running AND passing games would improve. We need a great pass-rushing RDE who would bring a nasty, confident attitude to this D. Allen and Haley would help this team A LOT. If not Haley, then Ware in his prime. Ware doesn't bring the nasty attitude like Haley, but he's probably the best pass rusher in the history of this organization.

A few thoughts: I don't think I saw a single LB in anyone's reply. That's pretty interesting. Does it reflect the fan base belief that this team is set at LB or is it an indication that we never really had a dominating LB corps? How about Chuck Howley, D D Lewis (and Dexter Coakley - you know, for trade bait).

The safety question is a good one. Definitely a weakness right now on this team with a lot of question marks. Woody was a dominator, but no love for Charlie Waters?

Yeah Ware is probably the best pure pass rusher in the history of our team. But I agree, I'd sacrifice skill for a little nastiness to strike fear in opposing QBs.

Haley is a catfish also that I think the locker room of RKGs could benefit from. If you haven't seen the movie or heard the quote, this is what I mean by "catfish".
