Just wanted to express my elation at the thought of having a fearless kicker like Nick Folk on the team. In recent years, the team has been struggling with inconsistencies at kicker. From Cundiff (although he did kick a record 7 FGs in that MNF game against the Giants in 2003) to Cortez to Suisham to Vanderjagt to Gramatica, the Parcells Era was an exercise in kicker futility.
I am feeling good about Folk's ability, so here's to years of opponents getting "Folked" by clutch FGs and years of not just long-term stability but long-term excellence at the position. And to think we did not even need Steve Hoffman this time, as great of a kicking coach as he is.
