I dont consider fair-weather losers to be real fans. If the only time you are a fan of a team is if they are winning playoff games (Cowboys did have a winning season after all) and you can just so flippantly change your loyalty to the highest bidder..........you are no fan.

Good ridence to losers like that, selling himself on Ebay is like he is trying to pimp himself.

Do you think the Lions front office is bidding for this fool?

It isn't about winning and losing. I'd support this team if it was 0-16 but had character, respect and honor.

This is the Brittany Spears of the NFL. This is a joke. This is a charade. This is a travesty. A leprous cyst on STD infested *****.

Far as I am concerned I hope someone does bid and he sticks to his word. I would rather not have fair weather fans for this team and I get tired of some cowboys fans always whining that they are no longer a fan of this team until blah blah blah happens. Screw that, turn in your fan card and don't come back.

You can complain about the team, you can say this or that needs to be fixed, you can rant and rave about this or that, but the minute you say you are no longer a fan of the team I say move on and stick to your word or shut the heck up and save the drama for your mamma.

He is just sticking true to the "nothing short of a superbowl is acceptable" that was all the rage here in the pre season. He is sticking to those words while most here seem to just move about like they never mentioned it.

Dallas took a step back this season and for some, that is hard to take. If he was a fan for 22 years then I hardly call that fair weather. He is simply fed up with the organization as a whole and has decided to move on. In a way, that takes some stones. How many people just sit at a job that they hate because they are use to their lives and changing would be too much effort?

First, the ebay seller probably isn't even a Cowboys fan.

Secondly, your analogy is kinda stupid. How many people sit at a job they hate because that's how they pay the bills and support their family? You don't get paid to be a fan of a team, and there is nothing on the line if you one day decide to stop being one.

You're comparing a hobby/preference to a necessity.

I actually thought it was a pretty funny. It's his right to root for whatever team he wants, so if they cause him that much heartburn then more power to him.

All the same, I'll stay and suffer a little while longer.

I'm tempted to bid and make him be a Lions fan. Then he can see what it's really like to be a hopeless fan.

Excellent. That's another bandwagon loser off this teams bandwagon. Now if at least a handful more of the fairweather jerks would see their way to the exit that would be sweet.

I'll stay and suffer forever if need be, but I don't think we will always experience downtime like this. And to put it in perspective, 9-7 is not the worst thing in the world. It was an epic underachievement for sure, but many teams fans would've loved to have been 9-7 this season. Even if Dallas has won a wildcard playoff game, losing in the divisional round would've been considered a failure because they wouldn't have advanced any further than they did last year. That's how high the bar has been set.
