You play Jerry on draft day.

Here is a hypothetical situation for you. Bill agrees to coach for one more year. During the draft Jeff Ireland really likes a certain QB in round 3 (I'll leave the specific name out of it for discussion sake). He feels very strongly about the player. As strongly as he felt about anyone they drafted last year. Parcells wants to go defense but he's only here for one more year and Ireland really thinks he has a find in round 3. What do you do? Do you risk making Bill mad. Lord knows Jerry and Parcells decisions haven't been the greatest when it comes to young QBs, but Ireland is dead sure he likes this guy better than anyone on the roster right now. What do you do as Jerry the GM?

I'd go defense, even if Ireland is sure. After a tough decision to grab the kicker in the 4th instead.

Historically speaking if I was Jerry, I would want my QB coming out of the 1st or 2nd round. Trying to grab one in the third is leaving you with another Henson, Romo, Quincy Carter situation.

If I ever was to draft a QB again, I wouldn't put my money on another project, we'd go for the sure thing prospect and take our chances down the road.

Listen to Bill. We are closer than most of you think. Bledsoe will be our QB for at least two more years along with Glenn and Key. If Bill stays he will have a win now attitude with this team. Don't be a bit suprised to see TO.
