TO would not suit up for anybody else next year but Dallas. If he starts acting up....you sit him down for a few weeks. But there are no cap savings in cutting TO....and the last thing you want is him streaking past your secondary in a game that matters.

If we cut him and somebody else wants to pay him, you can bet he'll sign on the dotted line asap.

Sitting him down does nothing. Cutting him does. You get rid of a problem on the team and send a message at the same time, a type of message that is SORELY needed at VR.

Jerry doesn't play that crap. He respects players and if he doesn't want a guy anymore he will treat him like a man and cut him so that he can seek work elsewhere.

Yeah, we know he wouldn't be a distraction that way. No way that would bother this bunch of mental midgets in the locker room. And surely all of his buddies in Dallas would remain silent so as to not let the situation fester...

You've got two choices:
1. Keep him, play him, use his talent, and live with all of his crap.
2. Get rid of him. Give someone else control of the locker room and use the weapons you still have on side of the ball.

I don't think he's worth it. I would send him packing tomorrow morning.

I'm not sure why you felt this needed a thread onto itself, considering the other 5,000 T.O. threads. But I agree, you don't cut him, if that's what they intend to do. For the record, I don't think T.O. is going anywhere, he'll be on the field unless he's injured.

Better hope he doesn't get injured...

Someone of this team might have the nerve to suggest that the Cowboys can win without him. That doesn't go over well with Terrell.

Wouldn't matter as long as we have good ole Wade as HC. Someone else would just emerge in that leaderless void we have to rile things up instead. We will never have "control" of the locker room as long as it is up to Wade to control things.

Maybe not. But I don't like thinking that my QB, coach, or anyone else can't lead because TO is the loudest voice in the room.

And if you look back at Philly, the same thing happened. Reid and McNabb are supposed to be very strong personalities. But TO's personality still won out.

If you get rid of TO, I think that void is filled by the quiet, take care of your business types like Witten, Romo, Wade, and Garrett. Even some of the more vocal guys on this team would have less reason to be vocal.

Usually the cap hit lessens each year but with TO we would actually take a bigger cap hit if we were to cut him after next season. He has a $3 million dollar roster bonus and more incentive-based bonuses coming up.

once you pay him the roster bonus you hand the inmates the keys & weapons... GAME OVER.

get ready for possible pushups, Drew Rosencrud and ESPN stalkouts

you cannot discipline him and if you do then you lost him for the rest of the season/playoffs. total waste of time, energy & money. Jerry SAVES CASH cutting him too!

2010 is uncapped. Jerry can dump everybody he wants to then. Cutting TO in 2009 is financially stupid.
