Who is your favorite Cowboy who never made to a single pro bowl?

I'll give you mine -- Eugene Lockhart. I looked it up and he was selected "All-Pro" twice, he never once was named to the Pro-bowl...

He was the only player who stood out to me in 1989 as being remotely exciting to watch.

Aikman and Irvin were on that team, but they hadn't become great yet.

I can't find where Lockhart was selected "all-pro" twice. I see he was on the 2nd team Associated Press All-pro team in 1989, but that is all.

Your right. I somehow misread his stats / achievements page. Good catch, thanks.

I always felt that the hitting machine was a solid player. There were lots of great linebackers playing in the league and in the NFC at that time, so it was easy for him to get overlooked especially since Dallas was not very good during most of those years he was a Cowboy.

Unfortunately one of the things that sticks out in my mind about Lockhart is the punt to the butt he got while playing in New England. The Patriots were trying to punt the ball out of their endzone. Lockhart as the upback took a slight step back, and the punter put it in his backside. The Steelers recovered the ball for a TD.
