Who do you feel is going beast mode this year and isn't getting the credit they deserve?

Mine would have to be Ronald Leary. Sure, some of us here at Cowboys Zone are talking about him, but he's getting no love elsewhere.

With all of the attention going to the three 1st round picks, he's keeping his mouth shut and punching opponents in the mouth, down in and down out since game one. He is an absolute animal.

Thanks Leary, for not complaining about a lack of credit and kicking *** every down. You keep it up and you'll get yours.

Your turn, fellow posters!

Leary is a good one for sure. Sterling Moore and Mincey have made contributions more than I expected

He'll get overlooked because he has done it for so long. But he is a better overall player this year. His blocking has gone to another level. I've always mildly criticized his blocking but he's a much better technician this year.

He's been blocking like a possessed man.

Yep, exactly. He's doing what he's been asked of and at a high level.

Justin Durant.

YR

Might be the best choice. You can see the D take a hit when he's not in. His coverage is better than Ro and Carter. I'd say we miss Ro more because he's so good against the run and I'm not certain we have a decent 1 yet. So when Ro is gone it shows more. Durant is very good against the run and does pretty well in coverage as well.

Like all those guys contributions esp Moore and Mincey. I've always wondered why Moore was not used more or even cut. Mincey is playing much better than I thought he would. All the interior OL are playing better than I thought.

Witten has also been showing some fire lately. I don't think i've ever seen him flash the first down in ya face before. I like it. I like it aaaaaa lot.

Anthony Hitchens. Has started 2 different positions due to injuries to starters, played all three, was berated as a terrible pick and has played like he was a bargain in the 4th, but not one is saying much about him anywhere.

Maybe they're choking on crow.

Every game i see comments of how he's played badly and isn't ready yet, but to me he's been playing really good for a rookie. He's made some key plays.
