My six-pack is running out tonight and I hadn't seen a thread on this yet (?), so ... your thoughts on the final score and off/def MVPs .... ?

30-27 Cowboys, a nailbiter ...

Offensive MVP: Bennett

Defensive MVP: Ratliff

Who is this against? The Chargers? Certainly not the Bucs!

The Cowboys sprint to a three score lead by the early 3rd Qter. The Bucs offense has two scoring drives, but only one TD. Halftime score will be 17-7.

The final score will be 34-10, Cowboys.

Offensive MVP is an easy one: Tony Romo

Defensive MVP I'll say Keith Brooking.

We win 35 to 24.

Felix rips a long one and gets a 100 yards. MBIII pounds out 80. Roy Williams gets a TD and 80 yards in receiving.

Yeah it may come down to the LBs, Brooking in the mix. Despite all this BS about the new OC at TB putting in more downfield/long passes, I bet they play it conservative running with Cadillac and Ward. Teams last year beat us running the ball so they'll try to pound it. Would you want to be Leftwich the immobile one, withstanding the Cowboys' withering blitz, waiting for deep routes to develop? .. And we'll probably play man defense and try to take away short routes, which is all Leftwich will have time to throw. So what do you do if you're TB except run the ball and run some tricky stuff?

24-7, I see the heat being a factor, but the cream (Dallas' superior talent) rises to the top by the end of the game.

Cowboys over Bucs

Offensive MVP - Marion Barber - The Bucs were soft against the run towards the end of last year. Don't know if that holds true now, but I could see Barber gashing them up bad, especially towards the end of the game.

Defensive MVP - Bradie James or Keith Brooking - I expect the ILBs to get a lot of work because the Bucs will be trying to pound it down the Cowboys' throats.

Cowboys 31-14.

Offensive MVP: Tony Romo, with an efficient 260 pass yards, 2 TDs, and 0 turnovers.

Defensive MVP: Gerald Sensabaugh, in his Cowboys debut, gets an INT while blanketing and frustrating the hell out of Kellen Winslow Jr. :)

35-10 Dallas win.

Offensive - Romo/Williams in a Co-MVP role.

Defensive - Spencer with 2.5 sacks. With all the attention on D-Ware, hoping to not let him kill them, Spencer cleans up.
