I know he isn't no Payton or Brady. But I think he is showing us he still has something left to prove.

I Like the fact that playing from behind doesn't seem to phase him. He just goes out there and makes plays. His accuracy has been pretty good thus far.
Amazing at times.

I think so far our bus driver has been called in for overtime and has been up for the task. Keep up the good work :clap2:

So far he has produced numbers that rank him with the top QB's in the NFL and while Manning has thrown 2 TD and 2 ints Bledsoe has thrown 6 TD and 2 ints and has come through in the clutch I would say that is a bit better than a bus driver.

My thoughts are that Bledsoe is doing much better than I expected. Granted, he hasn't faced a blitz-happy defense yet (ie: Eagles) but he's done his job very well.

Honestly, I was thinking we would be worse off that we were with Vinny. Vinny did make some plays, but so far Drew has been more careful with his passes this season than Vinny was last year.

He has done what he's been asked to do and performed very well. The only problem I have is that he's still holding the ball too long.

I think the impression I'm giving of Bledsoe is not right...so for the record...I think Drew is doing a nice job. He's without a doubt the best QB we've had in here since Troy left, so I'm happy we have someone capable finally!

I think he is really tyring to not make any mistakes and missing reads, but considering that's getting hammered in his head it's understandable. I HOPE BP allows him to push the ball more down field...he has the arm, and Glenn, Crayton and Keys ARE getting open. I'm sure this will happen more and more each week. What we've had so far is good, it can get even better...I think it will if we want to keep pace with the Raiders next week!

Actually the Skins and 9ers both are pretty blitz happy. As far as Bledsoe goes another Pro Bowl may be in the cards for him, if he can stay playing the way he is.

The Good......

Accuracy
Leadership....his line love him!
Throwing the ball away when there is nothing.
Impressed with his arm strength and deep ball.
I loved the run for a TD.

The bad.....

Pats the balls way too much.
Stares down his receivers (Other teams will catch onto this soon)

Overall....I'd give Drew a B+

I was one that wasn't exactly for the Bledsoe signing but I'm not affraid to admit he has proven me wrong so far and he has done far more than drive the bus. I like his attitude and his moxy so far. Let's hope he can keep it up and not revert to bus driving again. It's so nice to see non-BD QB play. LOL!

My preseason Pro-Bowl prediction for him was:

250 yds/game
2 tds/game
fewer than 1 int/game

Looks like he's right on track.

The final gauge is him leading the team to the Playoffs. If we can go 2-for-1 from here on out, we're well on our way with a 10-6 or 11-5 record.

Mark my words, with the NFC in the shape its in, Bledsoe has a good chance of being in the Pro Bowl and Dallas has a fighting chance to make the Playoffs because of him.

He is playing better than I thought he would. Still a long way to go. I remember last year after 3 games some were high on Vinny and the same thing was happening in 2003 with Quincy early in the season. Lots of positives to take from his performance the first 3 games. Even looks as if he has room to improve. He is just learning how to use Witten and Keyshawn. I think he could develop more chemistry with them. He probably can get a little better at throwing to and relying on the running backs. Price hasn't even seen much action. Looks promising.

That would be great but we need to get our secondary consistant before we can even wink at playoff talk... :)

I think all the NFL teams have plenty of film on Bledsoe at this point in his career, so they are not going to suddenly catch on to his ball-patting. But I think Bledsoe is doing better right now than any Dallas QB since Aikman obviously and better than the 2000 version of Aikman. At least, the offense is moving the ball and scoring points, most of the time.

64.3 Completion Percentage
850 Yards
8.67 Yards per attempt
70 Long Pass Completion
6 TDs
2 Ints
12 pass plays over 20 yards
4 pass plays over 40 yards
103.7 QB rating

I am very pleased with what I am seeing. We have a qb that should keep us in most games, even when we are down by 2 TDs like yesterday.

The last few years, being down by 2 TDs was as good as a loss.

Plus 5 offensive TDs yesterday and 4 versus SD. I can't remember the last time we scored at least 4 offensive TDs in 2 of 3 games...

True.

And I think to myelf after his performance in SD and SF. To play him conservative against the skins just puzzles me. We could very easily be 3-0 right now.

Did the Chargers sack him 4 times ??

It says so in the game stats, ... I didn't realize that.

Sometimes that can hurt but "holding on to the ball too long" also allowed him to complete that deep ball to Glenn on the winning drive.
